A beaut looking seasonal creek, that newly discovered one, Andrew. Promising evidence - old workings, specimen in the creek, good flakes, and hard to get to, without specific directions, has to be another good aspect. The old workings may also have missed out on detectorists rediscovering the area, heavily lacerated by sword grass, and unwilling to risk any more slashed acid-washed Amoco's or Levi's. Hard to get to - maybe they'd go in, and stay for days, rather than in and out every day, just a thought if there's maybe that one flat spot holding signals, and nothing for some distance, so stayed isolated, unrediscovered. @@gabivalla6279 It was worked by the old timers and there are mines not too far away it’s hard to tell what access was like back then but im thinking better than the way i went in hahaha i will be revisiting it again soon before it dries up now im back from holidays

The 3 creeks in Warrandyte are NO high bankers, there are other creeks on the outskirts that you can high bank but always best to check the spot your going to first.
