Keep in mind that the FAA considers drones (even recreational drones) to be aircraft. Shooting at it or doing anything to interfere with its flight is illegal. No one controls the airspace over their home.

That signal jammer will earn you a minimum $25K fine from the FCC! A store owner in our local mall had an art gallery and he felt like he was the cell phone police and set up a jammer in the back. I’m a construction manager building wireless cell towers and when the engineers were call testing they picked up way too much noise and interference. We had a frequency specialist sniff out where the jamming signal came from and the specialist handed the store owner a cease and desist. If he wouldn’t have turned down the jammer the next step was to let the FCC handle from there and they don’t fuck around

@@h.Freeman- This! I'm not a pacifist, but it's always better to get along with your neighbors, because 'neighbor wars' have no winners. My brother in law had a neighbor war. It ended when the neighbor tried cutting the underground power cable to my brother in law's well and electrocuted himself. Problem solved, but it should've never gotten to this point. They were actually really great friends, before their neighbor war started. About 14 years ago, my wife and I were looking at houses for sale. When I opened the side door, on one of the houses, I saw that the next door neighbor had planted a bunch of signs on their lawn, pointed at this house, with passive-aggressive messages on them. Now, I knew why these people were selling, and didn't want any part of it. I don't know who started it, or what anyone did, but I wasn't going to buy the house, just to find out. You don't have to be friends with your neighbors, but you should, at least, be friendly. I get it, though... Some people are always looking for a fight and just can't be reasoned with. In those cases, it's just best to ignore each other.

None of these are viable for neighbors living immediately next door or even on the same block especially in a town or city with a lot of trees in yards and on sidewalk strips. Anything with motion sensors can be quickly permanently disabled with hand held lasers. Anything with a night vision (infrared) camera can be permanently disabled in seconds if an infrared laser is aimed at the camera lens which warps the lens and overloads the image sensor destroying both. The FAA has harsh penalties, including time in federal prison for removing ANY in-flight aircraft, including drones, from its respective flight path, even if that aircraft is flying illegally over your property. The fines are even worse if a human is injured as the aircraft falls to the ground. The projectile launchers featured here ensure a fast track to prison for obvious reasons. The autonomous security drone can easily bring in charges of voyeurism if the lens is that drone's camera looks into a neighbor's back yard or window in its programmed flight path, even for a second. It can also be easily taken out by the net gun and the green laser featured in this video. None of these are viable options for average citizens living in close proximity to neighbors and who are living paycheck to paycheck.

I mean heck, as far as I understand law, you can just remove the "illegally" from your "... flying illegally over your property." statement as far as the FAA is concerned. You own your land, not the air above it. If the drone lands on your property, that's another matter, as well as the vouyer stuff too. The signal jammer is especially dumb one: If someone actually tries it on a noisy neighbor they will either jam everything in both their own home and other nearby houses so they bother and endanger themselves and innocent bystanders, or they have to set it to short range and trespass on the neighbor's property which is an extra crime...plus there is supposedly an outdoor party in that yard so plenty of witnesses will see you bring in and set up the illegal device. Now I think there are certain government agencies that use them to prevent unwanted signals at their facilities and a SWAT team could have one to block security systems and communications before assault, but there is really only one sensible reason why a civilian would want one(no, stopping neighbors from playing music is not a sensible plan) and that is to disable the wireless cameras, burglar alarms and the owner's cellphone before robbing a house. Not only is the device illegal but anyone buying one is either a burglar or a terrorist...why would they even put it in this video?

Usually someone with a pilot 107 license can fly over a house if it is on the way to where they have to go or if they are doing work in your area. the only time it's illegal is if you continue to go back and forth or hover over a person's property. that is trespassing. most licensed pilots know the laws and will not perform this. it's against the law and a licensed pilot can lose their license and be fined. However, should a private citizen interrupt a valid flyover, the pilot can sue the homeowner for the drone and for lost wages should it affect the ability of the pilot to do his/her job. Also in most states, it is illegal to shoot down or jam a drone flying over your property because technically it is flying in government regulated airspace and most licensed pilots already have the permits that allow them to fly by your home.
