A couple of reasons for painting the car white underneath. One it's very easy to spot leaks, and where they come from and what they are because of the white paint and second one underneath the car and helps to see things better because of the white with light reflection, those are two reasons for people painting them. Especially race cars.

I have a 09 challenger RT with a six speed. I recently sent the VIN to Dodge administration. Fiat Chrysler sent me a email a few days later. It says my car is 1 out of 110, with these unique features. It's basically very low to no options car in TorRed. It has 37 thousand miles, I wonder if it will be worth anything, or if it's worth more than a regular 09 challenger RT now.

I have a buddy who has built 3 "Winged car" noses...Superbird & Daytona, and his are much less crude than how they came "Back in the day." Contours, lines, gaps- far better than Creative Industries put on. He did the trunk spoiler on my A-body, all in metal, took it from quarter extension-to-quarter extension and it looks factory to most people. That Chevelle is really sharp, too-

Does he have a website. I'm looking at doing a restomod 60s Mustang if I can ever get my engine finished.

The 71 charger must be a late built car , it has a 72 pb hood , 72 hoods have a small gap in the lovers next to windshield . this is the first one ive seen that wasn't an air grabber . The body style is called fuselage

@archieguitarz4700 12 сағат бұрын
Could be late production but the louvered hood was standard on the 71 R/T. One year only, by 72 it was replaced with the regular power bulge hood.

@@archieguitarz4700 True , all 71 pb hoods had a hole in them ( for super bee's , RT's & air grabber's ) and 71 was also the last year to have a hole in them , but I've seen a handful of late built 71 cars with a 72 stye hood with an air grabber , but that charger is the first non air grabber 72 hood I've seen so far

Did you race your chevelle during the PID reunion a couple of weeks ago? I think I may have raced you. Your car broke down for some reason if that was you. Also I know Bob George. Nice guy.

A quick way to check for small or large bolt pattern rims is the small has a half inch stud hole and the tip of your pinky finger barely fits and the large pattern rims have a larger hole about a ⅝ and your index finger will fit Of coarse depending on your hands.

Gotta check close on hemi cars because dash frames, fender tags and I have seen radiator support and rear trunk lip with sequential numbers moved with torsion boxes from wreck or rusted out hemi cars, gotta dive deep into them it you ever try to buy one
