I’d love to see her improvement at the end of the course. I bet my son could really benefit from this, but it’s really expensive. Are there any at home exercises that you need to do at home?

How the program works is each day you are guided through what to do with the video. It starts with recalling what they learned/pictured from the day before, then they are guided to how to picture the next story. And then there's the section on following directions and vocabulary. But the picturing is the meat of the program. You do it once a day, preferably 5 days a week, and it only takes about 15 minutes. There's nothing else you have to do outside of the lesson. I hope that helps explain it a bit! I will ABSOLUTELY update everyone with a comment on this video and possibly a second video update as well. I am so hopeful that we will see a lot of progress!

My kids aren't reading yet and are very resistant to learning to read. They know their settings but not their letter sounds. 5 and 7yo. Any tips for a good program to get them started. I've tried reading eggs and hooked on phonics. Nothing is keeping their attention so far

Have you tried ABC Mouse or Homeschool+? I think Homeschool+ is great for the younger kids. Or maybe they just don't like online programs? You could start with a simple print Phonics curriculum and just do a little bit at a time. We used Horizons with my 9 year old when she was younger. There are a lot of good Phonics curriculums if they don't like the online programs. Don't worry, it will happen when they are ready!

I have two sons who both struggle with reading comprehension and I'd like to try , but wondering if this could this work for two kids at once or would it be better to do each child separate?

She said that they can do it at the same time if they aren't distracting each other, but if they are then it would be best to do it separately. You get one subscription for the whole family though so you can definitely use it for multiple children even if you do their sessions separately. Hope this helps!

They probably would not be ready for this program yet. Hooked on Phonics might be a good option.

I think so. She doesn't complain about doing it so we've been able to stay on track so far. I think she's actually excited to see how much progress she makes which is awesome!
