I love Dylan's music and wrote and recorded a song called "Hey Bobby" which is about Dylan's music helping me get through my relatively short drug phase. The lyrics are me talking directly to Bob. It's so bada$$ that this film is taking place in early 60's Greenwich Village, which I loved learning about in "No Direction Home" and in Dylan's autobiography. Wish I could travel back in time to hang out there. That slow camera shot coming up at Dylan from the side is amazing, has that epic feel to it! I'm just hoping this isn't more a love triangle story.

Total DYLAN fan, ever since I got into him with 1997's "Time Out of Mind" the year I graduated college. I've been fortunate to see hiim live 4 or 5 times. I really liked the film "I'm not there." This one looks awesome, very much looking forward to seeing it. And I think I'm going to be press-conference Dylan for Halloweeeeen... oh, how would it feel?

Yippee! Can't wait, love Bob! ❤️

I think Dylan's voice had a lot more dynamic subtlety at that time but pretty damn good. I'm not usually a fan of biopics but as a fan of both Dylan and Timothee Chalamet I am intrigued.

His inflection on "forests" is spot on.

As if Oppenheimer movie wasn't enough? There's going to be a movie about Bob Dylan as well. J. Robert Oppenheimer blasted Japan Bob Dylan blasted people's ears

From Duluth myself. Huge Dylan fan. Seeing him Sept 6th in WI. The trailer looks great, super excited, I think his voice is different but he's doing as good a dylan as many others. Hopefully it all captures the spirit of the times and spirit of the moments in them.

My main problem with walk the line was that they made cash a seem like a saddo consumed by drugs, the guy had a sense of humour and the same with Dylan and I hope his humour comes across in this, still very excited

wasnt he pretty addicted at some point though
@cillianmclaverty93922 ай бұрын
Yes but that entire movie painted that as his whole thing, the guy was funny and lived a little but the movie ignored that point. He did serve some time in jail and a had a few incidents.
@johnedward83522 ай бұрын
I think Johnny was sadly addicted to pills his entire adult life. I think he struggled with it until the end. His moments of public humor were likely overshadowed by the pain he lived in his private life. I'm speculating of course, but if you know anyone who is ill with addiction, it's a pretty bleak existence and often insurmountable to overcome. I thought the movie showed that side extremely well. Interesting conversation, though...peace.
@cillianmclaverty93922 ай бұрын
@@johnedward8352 fair enough, just wished they could portray his bravery and persistence throughout his addiction to be full of life. Peace
