James Randi is highly selective in who he allows to take his so called "challenge." Of course he claims that he is contacted by thousands of crackpots weekly and can't possibly verify all of their wild claims, which is certainly plausible. However, given that situation, it makes citing his challenge as any sort of evidence entirely disingenuous and utterly meaningless.

1 million dollars is no motivation for people who actually have mind over matter abilities. Esp if you wind up with mind control freaks on your case forever wanting to use you.

Randi is also selective in who he allows to take his "challenge." Really, it is just propaganda. Plenty of us have experienced things which absolutely defy scientific explanation. Very few can cause such things to happen consistently, fewer still can do so for the purpose of proving something to skeptics who actively want to disbelieve. To prove something with a show, for most people, requires a degree of pride, ego, desire, all of which are obstacles to the miraculous. There are many reasons that some things are kept secret.
