Mind the Gap @ 14th St. 6 line downtown -- Retraction -- Part 2 of 2

The tight curve at the 14th street station requires automated grates to extend from the platform to fill in the gap between the train and the platform.
The old South Ferry loop platform on the 1 train used these grates too, but the new platform is a straight in and out station instead of a loop.
