Can also root the cutting to grow as a new plant 👍
@dkadwoa4114 Жыл бұрын
How
@bibotgames Жыл бұрын
@@dkadwoa4114 You can remove the lower leaves on the cutting and just leave the top leaves. Then root the stem in water. The nodes where you removed the lower leaves is where the new roots will come out of. You can also plant directly into soil, making sure to bury the new nodes and it will become a new plant.

I stopped pruning like that because i don't want to get tall. I just picked the top buds before it flowered so it spread into a brush up to 1 feet only with green thick leaves. Basil is super easy to grow i just water it no water is too muchh for them. It loves the showers more is better and grow super quick. As a matter of facts i only grew it once the next year it grows itself and self care lol no nutrients, or mulche added i just water it daily lots of it, thrives like crazy! Even 120 degree yes

Thanks for the instructions on its care. I didn’t know to do this. The basil I’m growing seems so fragile. It doesn’t like full sunlight it seems so it’s hidden in the shade of a raised bed and seems to be doing well there.
