holy moly i did not see this coming. historically, what daniel did in the first 2 rounds is what he typically does to everyone, mindaugas included. i thought it was over after the first 2 rounds considering daniel can arm wrestle for days. what a shocker! props to minda for not losing confidence in himself. daniel has that effect on a lot of his opponents, espcially since minda has not beaten daniel since moldova 2018 i think. we need a makarov vs minda rematch!

Why is Daniel so god damn strong lol. Oh wow I didn't see that round 3 coming. I felt Mindaugas was no where close to being a good match for Daniel. I was expecting Daniel to rather easily flop-wrist press the whole time. Though I don't know if he has a strong one of those. Will see the next rounds. 33:56 Round 6 was a match-win for Mindaugas, but he didn't like how he won, so he kept it going. That's pretty cool. Then Daniel blasted Mindaugas' elbow off the side, which surely should have been a round-win and 3-all, but I dunno! (wait no, 35:43 the pad flew up lol. each time Tarasaitis regripped , Procopciuc did not , i would think he would want to regrip each time as well to keep up? Each of those regrips gets more blood into his hand/wrist , really good match

With a bend wrist you cannot climb or even try to regrip is really difficult. Mindaugas hand control is way better and thats why he won. Daniel only chance was hit harder, but not enought side presure or speed this time.

Why he won after round 2 : Made his cup a priority rather than is pronation / hit backwards to get a good cup and attack daniels pronation. Mindaugus pronation is strong enough to not get compromised anyways hence why making cup a priority is way more efficient. No presser can work without their pronation which minde now had a chance to gradually chop away at.
