Finally figured out why they wouldn't open : there was a painting on one of those pressure plates. Which Z picked up, then it worked again.

If Zisteau did the painting prank there would not be a blank block when he was done. He's unimpressed because he spent 10 hours doing the candy land prank and the three of them can't even get this one done to its fullest potential. He's a perfectionist and it shows in his builds and pranks and when others don't complete something to the best of their ability it doesn't impress him.

It's kind of a bug in mindcraft, commonly known here as the Logoutivator, and it works because once you put yourself inside that space with the trapdoor closed into your body, your character no longer has a 2x1x1 space. When you log out and log in, mindcraft will spawn you at the nearest free 2x1x1 space going up. Z has a pillar of blocks, so the place it spawns him is at the top of the pillar. We don't see him log out cause Zisteau edits it out of the video.

Sorry if you have heard this before, but paintings are entities (not blocks, which is why they did not interrupt the water) and can thus be slain with snowballs/eggs/arrows, which will probably help with the cleanup.

for those of you that think that was a lot of effort, look at some of Zisteau's pranks were he had to gather the material for the prank and then the prank its self. The wool probably came from one of the other 2 pranks he has done and they simply gathered the wool together. The texture pack is a mix of several for the world and tools and some of the other things he made him self. He spends hours playing with it and some things he is still tweaking with cause some things dont look right

The furnace shutters weren't working because one of the other pressure plates was being held down by a drop (you look right at it at 11:10), Zisteau. You walked around and picked it up, letting you pulse the T Flip-Flop the next time you pushed a pressure plate.

Paintings don't disturb water and other things because they aren't counted as blocks, they are counted as entities, so you can place them in more places.

Zisteau! There are 2 good ways of getting rid of those paintings. One is to stack up on snowballs and start shooting all of them, they will pop when hit. Another is to get some tnt and some water and start blowing them off, since they are entities they will be destroyed even though the tnt is in water and will not damage the blocks surrounding it. Both these ways are very efficient I found... Thums up so he can see?

Etho and Beef spent 1 hour gathering wool and logs. In total they gathered over 4,500 of each. That is more than what Zisteau used for Pause's prank AND Etho's prank. I'd like to see you gather more logs and wool than that in an hour. And, for Beef's prank, Zisteau said he spent months gathering all of that.

They placed over 4,500 paintings in a little over an hour, with only an hour to gather the supplies. That means that in an hour, they gathered over 4,500 pieces of wool and over 4,500 logs. That is not slacking. I'd like to see you make and place more paintings in 2 hours. And, you should also note that Pause wasn't there to help gather supplies, he was at PlayonCon. So only 2 people gathered the supplies.

One issue though to making a painting of paintings is Zisteau uses a texture pack, so it'd be a little off colored unless all the paintings were left alone. That said that would be an awesome prank. But I don't blame team canada for simple pranks, it's easier to get multiple people going in 1 direction if it's simple, and also they are trying to align schedules to do this so they might not have a big time slot. My favorite part is how he reviews it, but also realizes he was going try it as well.
