The goal of this Hearthstone Galakrond Thief Priest OTK combo deck is to use Mindrender Illucia combined with Octosari! We do this by playing Octosari, Shadowy Figure, Animated Broomstick, and Mindrender Illucia! Then, we trade off the Octosari to destroy the opponent's deck! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

12:44 opponent had a good chance at lethal here but messed it up by not summoning the two 1/1's first and hoping the [Convincing Infiltrator] killed them or the [Lightforged Zealot] allowing [Natalie Saline] to go face for 8 damage.

@@pestober I'm just assuming here but since Mark plays a lot of inconsistent/meme-y OTK decks that can take up to 300 tries to work his MMR is probably rock bottom putting him up against worst players.

I just had an amazing idea for a Scholomance Academy "Yes" priest. Basically you make an OTK priest with the easiest possible OTK (No need to ignore taunt, can be exactly 30 damage, that can be pretty much countered by any opponent) and then you play Mindrender Illucia. Since you will be the one to get OTK'd, you can just not play any taunts nor gain any armor.

In wild, you can absolutely obliterate people with Mindrender + Hakkar. Just draw your deck, play Hakkar + Naturalize, then draw with the 0-cost mana overflow spell. At this point, your entire deck is 2x Corrupted Blood. The following turn, draw 2x corrupted bloods, take 6, and shuffle 4x Corrupted Bloods back into the deck, then drop 2x Forest Guide + Mindrender to switch decks--this means that the opponent will draw 2 cards at the end of your turn and 1 at the start of their turn, dealing 12+24+48=84 damage to them. It's a 5-card combo over 6 turns that requires no discounts and insta-kills all but the toughest control warriors/armor druids with no chance of interaction (even Ice Block doesn't save them from fatigue).

Hi mark, I was thinking of a different setup for this combo. If you have a octosari that has died this game you can resummon 2 of them with Vectus then do broomstick+mindrender. Feels like a better setup then playing two fateweavers and now with mindrender nerf still works with no cost reductions. You can either draw cards with the octosari but can also play a silence in the deck to silence it and then kill it of. Problem is you are not allowed to play other deathrattle minions during the game so a gala shell could missfire. But maybe a miracle shell could work as well.

Interesting, when the game gave you your deck back at 11:55, the orb didn't trigger on your start of turn draw! Maybe the orb checks if you have any cards left at the start of your turn, before the switch happens, so it says "nope, deck empty" and doesn't activate.

Orb was played first, so its "start of turn" check happens first. That is basic Hearthstone mechanics. Card effects are resolved in chronological order, oldest first. There is one hard coded exception that I know of and it is about cards that aren't even played: Graymane and Mooneater are resolved before Malchezar (start of game effects).

​@@JaharNarishma It's still an unusual interaction, because I can't think of another situation where the sphere wouldnt trigger despite you having a card to naturally draw. Also, what happens if both decks still have cards when it swaps back? Does the orb trigger for your opponent's deck and let you draw or put one to the bottom before they swap back? Nothing about this interaction is "basic hearthstone" because its two very unique and specific effects interacting with each other in a way the devs likely didnt account for.

What about adding Cho and some coin generation(quest,licensed adventurer,soldier of fortune) and any other cheap spell(reborn?) you want to use twice by giving them copies before swap, full hand also prevents you drawing too many good cards for them to use later :)

Good OTK like always mark but after playing her i get the feeling Illucia is pretty much a win more card in anything other than a meme deck, you cant play her from behind and if your ahead there really is no point in playing her other than combo disruption. predicting right now she will be one of the most overrated cards in the set because were still in a hyper aggressive tempo meta outside of wild.

So, this is a real bad OTK but maybe that's why you can play it, OTK Shaman with normal C'thun and Shudderwock, you just buff up your cthun with your Quest HP and you can use the new legendary card that re-arranges your deck from highest to lowest, to guarantee C'Thun and use Tour-Guide for the free double battlecry c'thun. Sounds really boring and not fun, but maybe for a day you run out of ideas or want something from the old days with a spice of new
