Islam is often relegated to a section of our lives that we access whenever we decide to incorporate Islam in our day-to-day activities. More often than not, a muslim can spend an entire day without remembering Allah, even when they pray. Prayer becomes a set of motions, and aside from that there is no real connection with Allah or His book. As such, Islamic teachings that require trust and patience are abandoned, and again excommunicated from the mind. The focus of this session is to re-introduce Islam into the thought process of the believer, and have Allah and His deen constantly on the mind and tongue, influencing our decisions and actions.

Crazy how y’all letting some clothes determine rather a person is free or not , inshala y’all will see who is really caged . Coming from a revert the entire niquab isn’t necessary and there is no punishment for a women who doesn’t wear a hijab in the Quran but I wear mine because Allah said to in order to protect my mind . Besides modesty it’s literally a protection from god from ill thoughts and wickedness , I was a heavy drinker and I weed smoker, my faith was the first step but my hijab makes it impossible for me to do a lot of things I would let myself be tempted to do without my hijab , a lot of people cut their hair when they feel really depressed or sad but if it was covered when you were around all that negative energy you wouldn’t feel the need to cut it it’s all about protecting YOU in EVERY way, hope that brings more understanding, people think it’s all about belonging to a man and the Quran states that no one belongs to anyone but Allah himself !!! It’s haram for a Muslim woman to even take her husband’s last name because she is not his property y’all keep mixing culture with religion.
