I am currently subscribed to Scar, and began near the end of Hermitcraft Season 5. As I was watching... "Th-those railways...look familiar..." " 'Mother tree?' I've heard that before..." "THAT NETHER PORTAL! AND THAT BIRCH HOUSE! I USED TO WATCH SCAR FIVE YEARS AGO!" I always wondered who built that house. And the fishing cabin and the crystal cave and that fancy quartz pool.

i just remembered i watched scar build the mother tree *years* ago. this has to be the best survival world ive ever seen in minecraft. the whole terrain has been terraformed and the dense forests look amazing. the rollercoaster is my favorite part tho, too bad you didnt go into third person mode

I would love to see a hermitcraft that lasts 2 or 3 years so that we can see a complete mona lisa game and see what you can do in 2 or 3 years, personally 1 year is way too short! Like so he can take this idea into consideration

S05 ended because there were only a couple of hermits still playing on the server. As it grows older, most of them get tired of it and eventually it dies. I think 1 year, 1.5 year, it's perfect for each season. Of course projects like the Mona Lisa will never get finished, but it is the way it is...

@@GustavoGplay There were only a few playing because they knew it was ending already; they were wrapping up their videos meaning a lot were ending jsut before the offical one - it's not the reason it ended. The main reason for it's end is: 1. It was already pretty long and the world was beginning to get full - it was about a year old. 2. 1.13 was on its way and they wanted to start fresh as 1.12.2 ended. Hermitcraft this year is most likely going to update the server when Minecraft hits 1.14 though, people have said 'when we update the server' and it's still quite a young series.

his had such a great nostalgic feel, it reminded me of my first times playing minecraft. It made me remember all my old projects and inspired me in a way that new worlds cant quite capture. Dont get me wrong, new ones are great, but there is nothing quite as pleasing as the simple satisfaction this gives you.

This has got to be one of the most single incredibly impressive Minecraft worlds I've ever seen! The biomes/terraforming looks far better than anything I've ever seen in modded biome generation too, it's absolutely stunning everywhere you look around! That Rollercoaster is one of the best builds I've ever seen too, and of course looks like an absolute blast to ride, along with the breathtaking landscape views in every direction! 👏👌

Yeah me too! Only it wasn't on KZbin, it was some third-party app and I had no idea who he was. I only discovered it was him this year. I think that was when I actually started trying to do things in the game and build cool things rather than just make oak plank and cobblestone cubes and run away from creepers with stone tools (though I think I only actually started to get "good" at the game in the past year or so)

I have never in my life seen anything as impressive as this. When I play Minecraft I get proud of myself for building more than 3 houses and making one custom three. I watched this entire video believing "this is the most amazing thing in his singleplayer world" to the next moment when something even more impressive. This world goes beyond everything, terraforming, interior, differents styles, ginormous forests, houses... I can't find the words. I must say you are better than Grian, never thought I would say that in a million years :)

I only just heard of scar as i started checking out Hermitcraft at season 6 but of course Ive been playing MC since beta. this video almost brings tears to my eyes and i was smiling ear to ear the whole time watching this. THIS is what mine craft nostalgia looks like. looking at someones 2013 SP map , reminiscing about snapshot bugs, amazing builds, scrapped builds, deprecated farms.... like, i see that stupid 10 hour c418 song loop and everyone saying "THE FEELS" but really..this did it for me. (don't get me wrong i love c418 but....nothing encapsulates nostalgia better than reminiscing over and old SP world)
