Minecraft 1.21 - Snapshot 24w11a - New Mace Weapon & Breeze Rods!

In this video, I will be going over all the new features of the 24w11a snapshot of Minecraft 1.21 including the new mace weapon, the new armor trims, pottery sherds and banner patterns!

The Minecraft 1.21 snapshot 24w11a for Minecraft Java edition released today. I will show you all the additions, changes and fixes added to this snapshot! This snapshot adds a new heavy core block which can be found in the vault of the trial chambers structure. Furthermore, the breeze drop is now 1-2 breeze rods, which are used together with the heavy core to craft the mace, which is a weapon that does more damage the further you fall before attacking. Furthermore, if you land a hit you will take no fall damage and surrounding mobs are pushed back. New are the flow potter sherd, guster pottery sherd, scrape pottery sherd, flow banner pattern, guster banner pattern, bolt armor trim smithing template and flow armor trim smithing template. All these new items can be found in the updated trial chambers, which contain two new rooms, the slanted room and the pedestal room.

I'm so excited for this Update! I wonder if every two or three weeks we'll get new weapons. Also, i REALLY hope they add the Combat Snapshots officially into the game! Stackable potions, better combat, new Axe enchantment, i'm excited for that...

While limiting non-stacking items from the vault is nice for clutter, I am going to miss getting two spellbooks per vault. The old way made getting Mending much more likely. Fortunately, Ancient Cities with the trade rebalance turned on pretty much always have one or two Mending books available in them.

I would love to see a New Trial Chamber room that's completely underwater, and inside that Trial Chamber room, we can fight Drowneds and either Guardians or a new Underwater Skeleton variant

I’m curious as to what the lore behind the trial chambers are, it’s possible the ancient builders used them as a training arena to fight the hostile mobs that spawn at night or some other purpose.

What if mojang added a way to power the mace with wind charges so in the next x splash attacks the mace deals increased knockback for every wind charge added to it.

It deosn't make sense to have on a *snapshot* which is a *testing* version of an *experimental* feature which will still be tweaked on and on with new updates. Minecraft is a sandbox game and like, a REALLY BIG part of the community are builders, so it makes sense they're adding new Pottery Sherds and even Banner Patterns, also, it gives more reason to go to the Trial Chambers. Also, what exactly do you mean by "unreliable"? A single jump boost potion and new enchantments for the Mace and voilla! You have a mass destruction weapon!
