One future update I hope they add is when the torch is in your hand, it'll light up, like in real life. It'll be a lot more useful to explore caves and dungeons, but the addition of shields compromises that. If you have a sword equipped, as well as a shield, you will put the torch away and take the shield out, or when you use a different item, say, like a potion, the shield will be put away, and the torch will be brought back out. :)

Glad to say, I'm part of the club that waited for you, Adam. I prefer that your snapshot overviews take an extra day or two, because then I can experiment with it myself. It also means if they do an a,b, and c like they did with this snapshot, you also cover the fixes and changes from those. You also make sure you figure out everything. I had no idea that the water bottle splash put out fire, or that there actually was a recipe for spectral arrows. Long story short, keep doing it they way you're doing it, and have fun with it!

Startrekexplorer's Minecraft Realm I did notice that it felt like something I'd already talked about in another video, but it was something ncluded on multiple change logs for this snapshot, so I kept it in. It's supposed to make the name tag on mobs show in the same way as on players, which I'm not sure is any different from how it already was in previous versions.

As soon as u showed me the lightsaber, i thought of an idea of using invisible rotated minecarts with the block riding it and use armor stands to make a kind of cutscene for a star wars map and have an armor stand person with a lightsaber in hand and have it rotated. Pretty cool

I'm using shaders a lot, and I've noticed that in caves it's really dark. But since shaders change how light works, carrying a torch produces light. So basically you won't have to put any torches around if you just carry one in your left hand.

I'm pretty sure that path blocks are 15/16th of a block because you can see one pixle off the side when it's next to full blocks. Full blocks are 16x16 pixels.

The Chorus Fruit might rescue you out of dangerous situations too. Imagine you're losing a pvp battle, but then see chorus fruit in your inventory. You eat the fruit, teleport to a random place, sneak up to the other guy and shoot him. He sees you, attempts to shoot you, but you've already eaten another chorus fruit. Your ways of pvp have just changed.

I'm mixed on the new iron bar/glass pane model, I used to use the cross shaped ones for stuff sometimes, like I have some glass pane legged tables, and some iron cross bars used to look like chains or supports for things. I can probably find a work around though. I really hope we get end-stone stairs and slabs, by the way. Also some prismarine brick stairs would be nice.

End Overhaul Done Right: Content. The End Sky Realm literally needs fan food; new mobs without silly potion correlations. It's a new dimension and it needs monsters that live there and have significance but they still need to be abundant like in the overworld. Even the Nether fails to do this. Also, the cities need more things and structures

To be exact, Grass Path blocks, as well as Soul Sand and Farmland, are 7/8ths of a block. Also, an idea for Water Arrows is to make them able to damage Endermen, and do bonus damage to fire mobs(e.g. Blazes).

The Mundane potion and Thick water potion were already in XBOX edition, for those who didn't know. Huh. I guess XBOX edition was more advanced with TWO things. The advanced water potions, and Ender Dragon boss fight. Also, probably "drowning" might be a potion effect with 1.9, where obviously you get air bubbles, and if the arrow is set to long enough(if different timed potions can extend arrow effect times), you'll start drowning. If this becomes true, the water arrows and drinking too much water will have his effect. Who knows, maybe these can be used to put out fires on players/mobs? That could help teamed PvP.

Levitation potions are incredibly good! People could make incredible balloons by using command blocks attached to the lead(rope whatever its called IDC) and create awesome balloons

Idea for the glow potion In a minigame, you can make it so in, lets say, PVP, players who apply it to themselves will get extra points per kill but they lose their stealth.
