Today is May 17th 2021, 12 years after Minecraft's initial release on May 17th 2009. I just wanted to make a video 12 years after the initial release.

No it was actually released in May 2009. You will find videos from May 2019 celebrating the 10th birthday. It wasn't fully relessed until Nov 2011. Look it up.
