It feels so rare nowadays to find a genuinely good Minecraft youtuber - they all feel like copy-pastes of people like Dream or LukeTheNotable - the only real exception, in my opinion, being Hermitcraft. i share this belief 100%, i really enjoy hermitcraft and appreciate their ability to continue with the same type of content through the years. they're about the only massive creators that i still watch because everyone else tries so hard to play into the algorithm. glad you like the videos :D

Man, stuff like this feels so much more genuine than modern Minecraft KZbin. Especially reading out the names to thank everyone, feels very 2010-era. Way more engaging and fun than the constant "WhY i DeLeTeD tHe WoRlD" hardcore videos.

some of those modern series are a bit wild. from those hardcore youtubers, i only really watch sandiction and thats just because i've followed him from the start, i think similar to lukethenotable he sorta pioneered his particular genre of hardcore with the editing style and such. it's just unfortunate how out of hand those type of videos have gotten xD

I'm enjoying this beta let's play a lot! It's very laid back. I like how it is not overly edited and extremely faced paced like most modern Minecraft videos, just to keep the attention of kids with an attention span lower than the one of a goldfish. KEEP IT UP!!!

Idk what you would call the youtube equivalent of stage presence, but you have it. Your series reminds me a lot of X's adventures in Minecraft without being a direct dupe of it. Glad to see people making let's plays in older versions of Minecraft, I can never keep up with all the bells and whistles that modern Minecraft has. X's Adventures in Minecraft was the beginning of a journey for me. I saw that and I was like "I gotta get this game." After that I got into watching Coestar who sadly quit KZbin. I was really into Zisteau's Survival Island and Sea of Flame series. The whole Minecraft KZbinr thing really took off. There was this podcast called The Shaft that would just cover cool stuff in the Minecraft community and there were always things like songs and music videos that were just kinda cute and celebrated the game and the community. The music video from Nov 2010 "In Search of Diamonds" from Eric Fullerton from The Shaft podcast really kinda captures the vibe from that time so well.
