Had to aim at the block above the chest right above the right side of the latch. Also 1.2 seconds is the lowest I could get it with a wooden pressure plate. Swapped out to a iron (weighted) one and got it down to 1 second.

For 1.20 place a solid block between the chest and the left of the pressure plate, then you can move your cursor to half way down that new block. This allows you to use a faster auto clicker.

I'm not sure if things have changed but that didn't work for me so I kept poking around till I found a spot. I replaced the solid block that's 2 above the pressure plate with a target block and I aim directly at bullseye and it works like a charm. I set my AC to 8 seconds and it runs fine all night.

The addition of the interact buttons on mobile has finally made this possible to afk, I hadn't tried fish farms since that update.

To make it work on mobile, this is what I did. Go to settings -> touch -> select control mode -> joystick & aim crosshair, this will let you aim exactly where it's needed. Then go to settings -> touch -> enable "show action buttons", and then position your clicker on the crosshair on the right side of the screen.

The aim and timing for the auto clicker doesn't work anymore but to fix this you'd need to aim above the pixel next to the buckled of the chest so you aren't traying to open it and I had success with changing the time to 800-900 milliseconds. I hope this helps as I struggled finding the sweet spot and lost a few fishing rods doing so.

I did some testing and replacing the block to the left of the pressure plate with a slab and aiming at the top-middle allows a lot faster cps, i got upwards of 50 cps works for it.

For those who are watching after update 1.21, yes this Fishing Farm still works. I did it and tested it, all you have to do is place it in the right place. Neither in the chest nor out of the water

I don’t know if this is a realm thing but to get it to work after 1.20 I had to move the left aligning slab to the right side and align to them normally and it works again. Edit: Just to clarify the issue I was having was the bobber being pushed off and falling to the ground no matter where I was aiming when I aligned to the left.

This is a directional farm, meaning it can only be built in the direction shown in the video (use the pressure plate for reference.) If it's too late and you've already built it, move the corner you stand in back one block and you should be good.

Peeps, if your having issues with the iron trap ( and the other issue I had which was It didn’t grab the fish in time) I fixed it with the clicker setting it to 1 second instead of a 100 milliseconds. It’s slower which gives the trap some time to come down and not reset till you catch whatever comes out.

It works in 1.20.13. Some things to make it work: Put a block in front of the half of the double chest that does not have water, aim above the chest, right above the latch of the chest, don’t aim directly at the chest, do it at the top, use an iron or gold trapdoor, and you good!

Just to let everyone know, it doesn’t work with mobile. There’s no right/left click and auto clicking the “fish” button will just shoot the bobber in and out, eating through durability and getting no fish. This does, however, work on pc and console. This is as far as I’m aware, so if I am mistaken, please correct me in the replies.

Even just on my xbox without an auto-clicker, when I spammed the tackle button, the trapdoor wasn't reacting fast enough to stop me from retracting the bobber, so I ended up in a loop of throwing the bobber and immediately reeling it back in, not allowing the trapdoor to activator or the bobber to have a chance at catching any fish. Is there a fix?

I memorized the other fish farm tutorial you uploaded on March 1, 2022. I have control stick drift in the *horizontal* direction, so that farm is better suited for it. If I ever have stick drift in the *vertical* direction, I'll be sure to use this farm. *TL;DR:* Both farms are great.

Tip: put a bucket of lava and under the wall/fence and place a button and a minecart with hooper under that. And you need another hopper to collect items from minecart. You won't lose durability of your fishing rod in this way and you will be able to get most of the xp

The design has gotten smaller and less complicated with each iteration, I expect in another year or two it's going to be nothing more than like three blocks and a llama from a murdered trader. I thought having lure 3 on a fishing rod produced more fish than actual loot? Am I wrong and it catches everything at the same speed? I feel stupid if all rates are increased equally.

@@th3grav3mak3rgaming8 You just have to keep circling the bed around the others with the head of the beds facing the center of the farm as best as you can. You can probably stack the bed on top of the others too but i never try so i'm not sure it will work. Anyways I don't recommand having more than 20 villagers ^.^' because it's a mess to keep them link to the riqht workstation and it doesn't spawn more iron golem.

Hey Silent! I just built the farm and have been trying to use this hours changing the general area of where im casting my rod shown in the video. I'm on xbox and it isn't working. the trapdoor and everything works but it keeps casting and re casting. Also for future videos for ps4 and xbox users (pc too if they dont wanna install auto clicker) if they have a wired mouse (not sure if it works with wireless) and they hold down the button on there mouse they want to use (like a auto clicker) and unplug the mouse it will continue to auto click or press whatever button it is for them!

This is directional. Rotate your build 90 degrees and try it again. You need to be facing either north or south when you are under the trapdoor facing the chest.

You now want to aim at the block above the chest about just above the chest hitbox. Also set your auto clicker to 1.2 seconds.

This farm must be built while facing either north or south or won't work properly. At least on console as far as I know.

I have found it doesn't work quite the same as of I don't know what version, but I last tested with 1.20.31. Anyway, it works as described in the video except, I put a block on the right side of the AFK spot and move to the back right of the AFK spot instead of the left. When I do it from the left, the trap door doesn't stay down while waiting for the fish.

Hey i need help i have a server with 4 of my players and weird things are happening in our server. I mean whenever one of us are alone doing something somebody with our name comes and kills us also whenever we enter our server there are a bunch of items drops in the water which creates soo much lag we have to wait for the items to despawn. I have confirmed none of us are doing these things there are only 5 players in the server.

When you say server, do you mean realm? Also, one of your friends is hacking, or someone has access to your server. You should probably ban all players until the problem is solved.
