Honestly.. i removed the whole cooking part of this farm. Changed the glass at the bottom for slabs and every now and then ill check on the farm and just hit the cows with a loot 3/ fire aspect 2 sword. Getting like 25+ cooked beef as opposed to just 5 if i used the lava. I mean.. you have to go back n press the button anyway might as well get x3 the resources by swinging ur sword a few times.

Just put a couple of fences on top of the hole when you have enough cows in the breeding area so they won't bob too much when you turn on the water.

I finally got all baby cows to fall down. Each single one... This is how I did it... I hope I am able to explain in in a way that you are able to recreate. Instead of the glass window use trapdoors. But you have to arrange them properly. Place an extra block at the block which is underneath the one facing the water dispenser (if you've done it like in the video this block should be a stairblock). Place a trapdoor at this block, open the trapdoor and remove the block. The trapdoor should now be in the middle of the hole but closer to the dispenser. Place another trapdoor at the "stairblock" and open it. Place a third trapdoor above this one (the third one is now facing the dispenser) That way there will be only one block of water and baby cows won't get stuck on the second trapdoor. If you are feeding your cows while standing above the dispenser each cow which lands in the area without water tries to go back to the area with water and it becomes a circle of cows floating up and down. Baby cows will get pushed to the area without water and fall down, baby cows however which stay in the area with water after deactivating the dispenser will also fall down because there is no gap at the dispenser. That way I managed to get ALL baby cows down to the lava area. It also works with sheep. Grown sheep will start to stand on the third trap door but if you keep everything the hight like mentioned in this video they won't be able to escape.

I found your channel a week ago and am so glad I did. Your bedrock builds are fantastic. Keep up the great work. You have a new fan.😀 I built your pig farm and adapted it into a single design that works for pigs, cows and sheep. I found that iron trap doors over the hoppers was the perfect height for all three animal types to keep the babies safe but burn the adults. Strangely I didn’t have the problem you highlighted with trap doors at the top. In my world the trap doors work fine at keeping the cows in with no problems breeding them, so I didn’t have to raise the top up another block. I play on the iPad so maybe there is a slight difference there if you play on pc or console. Great vids. It is so good to finally find a great player who puts out clear and effective tutorials for bedrock.

@@RogueFox I need to make an amendment to my earlier comment. While Iron trap doors over the hoppers do work to prevent baby cows and sheep from burning, on further testing I realised that the lava was burning the drops, so I couldn't make one design that worked for all 3.
