For those who are only getting 1 iron golem spawn even when you just start the farm, the solution is to break the beds. Sometimes there will be villagers who are not sleeping even when it's night time, so be on the lookout for them. As someone who used minecarts to drop them in the 1x1 space with the chains, I think they locked in on a bed that they first saw and not the beds they are trapped with. So just break the beds until the villagers reorganize themselves and the farm should spawn 4 golems when you break the block above the pillager. I will say, it won't always spawn 4, I've noticed that during nights, only 1-2 iron golems spawn, but during the day, it should be mostly 4 spawning. Goodluck!

@user-tq2gb4uh7c ah yes. I waited until they was sleep then broke a bed one at a time to wait until villager got up...then placed the bed back repeating waited for them to go back to sleep. Then repeated the process for each villager. I dont recall seeing one where I see 4 golem at once but I do see 3 or 2 from time to time.

If you ever have trouble about the villagers not going to the glass block after they sleep, just put a glass wall 3 blocks high around the bed.

at 7:20 dig down 20 blocks instead to make sure the iron golems are outside of the radius of the villages They're mostly out of the radius at 15 blocks down, but this ensures that iron golems spawn while the others are still burning also if you can't find a pillager outpost just wait for a patrol when the local difficulty gets high enough

it works on 1.21.1 java , i added nametag , and also made it 20 blocks instead of 15 , also i added glass incase the villager try to move „ sometimes mc is weird haha“ and it works perfectly i dont get always 4 iron golems but sometimes it does for 5 min i get 3 stacks of iron so its amazing haha , im also thinking to add a crafter so it will automatically turn them to iron blocks if i can , thanks ill watch more of your tutorials.

great job - easy to build and cheap! Nametag for pillager/Zombie: look for chests in mineshafts I recommend this farm - should be the 1st farm in every world. Breed some (many!) more villager as you need for this farm and - once its running - put 10x Iron-Trade --> Emeralds & XP are no problem anymore

make sure the pillow is closer to where they stand, and if they slept in defrent beds before, try to destroy them (the old beds, not villagers). They remember their beds and they try to go back to them (like going back home ;) ) so they refuse to sleep in new ones

Alright I just added path blocks 10 blocks out of each side, hoping that if I made it identical that it would work. It didn't. Some villagers end up in the right spot but most don't. ALSO, each night they go right back to their bed somehow, repeating the same thing multiple nights in a row.

the farm works really good but there is some changes you should do 1 when you are spawnproofing the place and have you villegars in put the fences around the dirt patch so no zombies can get to the villegars while you are making the rest, 2 give the pillegar a nametag once you get it in so it dont despawn 3 dig 20 blocks donw insted of 15
