The End's original biome name was The Sky because the End was originally going to be a Sky Dimension but due to some coding errors it was changed to the End, it was later changed and corrected when they did the expansion of the End to include the outer islands giving it its proper biome name. The Nether for the longest time was the Hell biome until the Nether Update which renamed it the Nether Wastes

technically you can place water in the nether it just evaporates immediately whereas the bed explode before you can even try to sleep

19:20 Mobs cannot spawn on Bedrock.. Think of when you are on the nether ceiling! You can however obtain bedrock outside of creative mode via commands.

You can also do it pre 1.8 by pushing a redstone piston mechanism towards unloaded chunks in the end island and getting lucky with it landing on a bedrock, in which case the piston block takes its place and drops an obtainable bedrock, you can use witch hut locations if you spawn in a swamp to find the location of end pillars, though the y axis is pure guesswork.

@@breakingaustin Carved pumpkins didn't exist until _way_ later. Before that, there were just pumpkins and jack o'lanterns. Both worked for making igors. Now, in Java, you've got to use a carved pumpkin or a jack.

I guess Jordan hasn't heard of either "Death of a Salesman" (pretty popular older play) or that Death is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Also, 2:13:20 , after telling each other multiple times not to press the Room 1 button, Jordan presses it and then yells at Tubbo, who correctly asks him why he keeps pressing buttons, and then Jordan immediately denies that he pressed anything (despite just pressing a button in the last five seconds that caused them to be sent back). Wow, this puzzle section brings out the worst in both of them (which isn't that bad overall, but understandably that section was getting to them). I see why QMagnet advised against playing it.

I think he got confused because tubbo said that the button would dispense the music disk that gave them the bypass (which it also did) so he thought tubbo did something else behind the scenes as he pressed the button to get the bypass disk

Captain, the music disk "the easy way out" i think was the answer as the last puzzle said something about the end being the beggining. Tubbo was right about the rest of the redstone not being connected to anything, im pretty sure the chest was exposed so that people who cheat will get it as a hint

The part of my that used to make maps for my friends suspects the original intention was for the puzzle to be the solution, however the creator couldn’t quite get it to work so they just bypassed it by cutting of the redstone and retconned the solution.

Your mines in Vault Hunters have a bunch of blocks that mobs can spawn on top of. Those blocks include but are not limited to: Stone, Gravel, Dirt, various ores... Bedrock has been and continues to be a non-spawnable block. The only reason why you're seeing a buncha mobs in your mines is because Iskall and the devs didn't want add extra effort when they're already super busy with everything else and flatten out the bedrock in the Overworld. Since you've got the vanilla generation of bedrock, you'll have sections that're gravel or dirt or whatever surrounded by bedrock, but it's still a spawnable surface on that dirt or whatever. Then the mob jumps or walks up onto the bedrock and you, focused on a million other things, assume that the mob spawned on the Bedrock. Now, is it possible that Vault Hunters modified the code so that mobs spawn on bedrock? Yeah, but I doubt that they'd do that when they've got a crap-ton of other things they have to worry about.

Bedrock is a transparent block. That's why you can do the ladder glitch on the nether roof; it works with glass too, but not things like stone or dirt. (it's also not even just a 1.7 thing lol)

6:10 the reason it used to be called Sky was because the biome name was from back before the End's final design was decided, it was gonna be more of an Aether-like concept, hence Sky It wasn't until uh, 1.9 I think, that it was renamed, because of the introduction of more Ender biomes 32:30 13w18a would be 1.7, not 1.5, because Block of Coal was first in 2.0, which 1.7 came after, introducing hardened clay, stained glass, and horses The amount of screaming to stand on the wools in the puzzle branch, like, just standing on purple looking somewhat up immediately helps you understand 2:00:00 TWO 2 ATE 8 FOR 4 THREE 3 2:16:30 seeing these without the skins on the heads is so sad 2:49:05 it's because this is 1.7, achievements have to be in order, advancements were so much better

Captian, you can smelt a chest and signs in modern Minecraft. Also in vanilla Minecraft mobs cannot spawn on bedrock. and sheep can spawn as light gray, gray, white brown, black, and pink

Kind of a shame Tubbo just went to creative mode at some points and potentially broke some of the red stone. Though I suppose they've been at it for quite a while. Still a bummer though.
