Etho, if you make a drone pickup a tool, he will use it on the blocks he mines, and you can specify which blocks to mine! You can make your tree farm do as follows: Start > Inventory Import (Shears) > Dig Area (The tree farm), (Leaves) > Inventory Export (Shears) > Pick up items (In the tree farm) > Inventory Import (Axe) > Dig Area (The tree farm), (Wood) > Inventory Export (Axe) > Pick up items (The tree farm) This will make the drone shear the leaves and then mine all the wood with an axe, then pick up all of the items.

Hey Etho! Use your Assembly Table and the I/O arms for the PCB manufacture upgrade in the quest book, no more etching acid or UV LightBox needed, laser does it all for you! Just make sure to turn one I/O arm to blue (use the Pneumatic Wrench on it) and then the arms will pickup blank PCB's and stick them on the table, etch them, and put them back! Totally automated! And it runs on compressed air!

Etho, if you make the drone pick up a tool from a chest, it'll use it like a player. Therefore a silk touch flux axe might be a good choice.

Wait until the pneumatic seeds have a meta value of either 6 or 13 before you harvest so you always get multiple seeds. If it reaches 14 then it will do its effect and anything else won't give you multiple seeds.

I am watching both this and GenerikB's playthrough. Genny started before Etho and has finished all the quests. The two's ideas of how to reshape the dust planet are so interesting. I can't wait to see how each of them go down.

Etho, you can have the drone silk touch, it just needs a silk touch axe in its inventory. Also you should invest in some "Item life upgrades" it will keep things from despawning in your pressure chamber and will give your drones regen. Lastly put a security upgrade in your air compressor, if you over pressure your system it will do a safety release of the pressure and not let it get in the red.

Etho, if you would like water, set up a well. You'll have to go down below level 45 but you can find "Dirty Water" instead of "Salt Water". Set up an auto smelter and pipe your bottles up to the surface. For even more ease of use, use Steve's Factory Manager to auto fill your camel pack :)

The best way to get water quickly is a liquid transfer node, but, just don't go look at the recipe in this pack :P I was using leaves as my main water souce, but I was on the city, I had a sync ready, and when I died I've respawned inside of dust, died and lost my world.. So now I want to play it again, but I'm avoiding it :(

Etho you can get many goods with one bone meal. What you do is you get some dirt and layout out an area for gras to grow. Get a grass seed and plant it in the dirt area and grass will spread. It works a lot faster with a watering can. Then when you have an area of about 5x5 use bone meal on the grass and you can get saplings and other cool plants. P.s. You are the best youtuber

Etho, if you click the hopper symbol while looking at t input and output blocks of the pneumatic craft machine, there are multiple options on how to filter it. The easiest/best one imo is "starts with" or "contains". These will make it where you type a keyword of what you want to come out. Hope this helps and good luck on your continued survival.

If you want the drone to silk touch the leaves, you can have it pick up a silky axe or shears from a chest and then drop it back off before picking up the leaves/wood after chopping the trees

You should NOT have a pneumaticcraft piping system going to far. The pressure drops after just a few meters. You can prevent this by converting your RF into air via a kinetic compressor.

The Kinect Compressor converts MJs into pressure, make a nuclear reactor (Need parts from nuclear reactors at the cities) and power your pneumatic stuff with it. And the item filter has a text mode that only removes items that contain that text.
