Most texture packs that people use on modern Minecraft are default plus packs like Stay True or PVP spam. The reason for this is rather simple, most texture packs even really good ones like Mythic are incompatible with mods and datapacks.

pure nostalgia out of this. I miss the days of YogLabs, Jaffa Factory, all the space exporation ones. Even the ones that I still thought were new like Besiege are over 3 years old. Amazing how time flies. and how a channel falls apart over 10 years, We saw the same thing happen to Smosh. Both channels aren't nearly as popular as they used to be and are putting out much worse content. It's obviously not going to stay in a golden age forever but I miss the random, off the cuff comedy that came out of these guys 5 years ago. They've changed, or maybe they haven't and the only reason I miss the old videos is out of nostalgia and not because they're actually any better. I guess we won't every really know for sure.
