Anyone having issues with the nether portals/item collection, just replace the portals with trapdoors/campfires and skip that whole step. Still works just fine

@wolves4608 dig a few blocks down, campfires on top of hoppers, trapdoor, and signs to hold the water back. I have my hoppers going into droppers, into a water stream and lead to one chest. You can just use 4 chests if you want. Have to lower afk platform a few blocks or they despawn before they hit the campfires

One thing to be wary of is that the lava and glass stage is a little tricky and its entirely possible to set yourself on fire. I took a fire protection potion with me and needed it! Also try not to build it in a stupid place like i did surrounded by mountains and no spawnable land. Ended up mining half a mountain when would have been better to cut losses and move on to another one.

Even if there was a design for it, it would make both the raid farm and omen farm much more inefficient. Honestly, just spend half an hour in this farm and you'll have all of the bad omen bottles you could ever need. And a raid farm takes like ten minutes to set up. You just need a flat platform in the ocean with a drop pit, killing chamber, and a villager in the bottom. Both farms can be completed in less than an hour, i dont see much point in trying to improve, you know?

(Bedrock) How many pillagers does it take for them to push each other? Im on creative and everything is working but them pushing eachother and it only works if i go to the nether myself. I even put a golem outside the nether pillager killer and they still dont die when im in the overworld. Does bedrock not allow mods to move away spots if a player isnt in the current dimension?

The item sorter doesn't work. The left hopper clogged at 1 stack banner and the right hopper doesn't want to hold 3 banner. Maybe I will use the bigger version of hopper lock

@@lcriix my mistake was that I put full block after the comparator, not the slab. So the piston was never retracted. Changing to slab made it work like a charm. Also, if you test with one banner in the top chest it will go into the bottom hopper with 3 banners (making the banners count 4). It may seem that nothing works, but as soon as another banner appears in the top chest it got pulled into bottom hopper (with 4 banners) and things start working, leaving 3 banners in the bottom hopper.

i dont understand how a pillager would spawn in water, only iron golems and drowns can. but if you need to spawn proof the center, replace everything with dirt before putting the water and either tile it with a hoe or make the dirt paths with a shovel

they don't spawn in water, they spawn outside the farm, the water spawn proofs the center

The Pillagers go in the portals and die to lava but the items ain't going into the chests, I went into the portal and dropped items into the portal and they went into the chests but I'm getting no drops from the pillagers?

I made this design last night. Be careful though not to make any changes around the Nether Portal though. For some reason it cycled the output to the next portal clockwise AFTER I had my capture device set up in the first portal! Now the output sits on the ground and despawns if I don’t collect.

Whatever portal the Items are coming out of. A simple hopper-minecart on a rail will work under the obsidian.. I just put my Hopper-Minecart IN the obsidian for no real reason other then to have them in the obsidian lol

@@Chapman_Farms I used your design to set up the capture hopper mine carts under the default obsidian portal that I teleported to initially. That part is working fine. However… I had to fix the glass in the Nether surrounding the lava, and cut a path to the portal. After doing that, it still teleports to the original overworld portal, but there are potions and banners pushing to the next portal clockwise. I can only assume it’s because I made some modifications in the Nether. It’s like it’s randomly linking to a new portal occasionally.

not on optimised servers. the one im playing on won't let us use portals if there is no player on the other side of it to keep them loaded. we have the issue with wither squeleton farm as well , so we have to rely on portal less design

And in the nether theres a lot of pillagers that go from a new portal (no the one with the lava). just built this and heres sone criticism, you should have said in the beginning to build it in a flat spot and make sure its not in a snowy biome so the water doesnt freeze, you also said to only bring 1 lava bucket and you used 2, you should have just put the hopper minecarts and the hoppers UNDER the obsidian instead of the super annoying pushing minecarts in with rails(unless theres a reason im not aware of) other than that its a good farm and i probably should have skipped throught the video before i built at my location but i have a tendency to just follow step by step from the start

128 is the max. Everything and everyone will despawn outside of 128 blocks from the player... So to play it safe, I go to around 126 blocks above my Lowest Chest to ensure I collect everything and nothing despawns

Where the portals are you can build a simple 3x2 trap door pit and have them all fall onto campfires with hoppers below them and it should collect everything. You can bypass the nether... the nether just increases the efficiency a bit

Should work. If you go by an outpost and Pillagers spawn, It will work.. If you kill all the pillagers and more respawn. It will 100% work

This will work, bout to make it, the only difference between java and bedrock would be that you don't use the nether, instead where the portals would be make a small drop or whatever you desire to kill the pillagers, other than that itll work
