My first ever game was Minecraft, around 6 years ago. I was 10 at the time. I remember getting home from primary school, and playing Minecraft with my friends, not caring about anything. And here I am studying for grammar school and GCSE is coming in 2 years :/

I'm so happy I found this video again after many years. Its giving me this nostalgic feeling of playing minecraft for the first time again learning and enjoying this game back then is something. Now that I'm older i can't feel it anymore the satisfaction to continue a survival world like it used to be. But I'm truly grateful to have those memories with me, how it gave me experience and lesson that its time to move on. That kind of nostalgic feeling can't be just bring back anymore, not with any older versions of the game we play, its the moments we enjoy the moments that making us excited and wanna do more because on that time we enjoy we are happy.

I remember my first time I started consecutively playing this game, being 6 and my sister got the Xbox 360. It was 2013, it wasn’t the first time I’d played but you could say I missed the true golden years of mc but it was still great back then. When I played on her Xbox I only got 1 hour a day. Those times were so simple, the time I got to play was just enough for me to be happy. Now adays it’s like time moves so fast. I can look at the clock and it says 1:00PM then look at it again in what seems to be 2 seconds later, and it says 3:00AM. I miss my old life. You never really value how important something is and how great it is until you lose it. I’ve lost those years, I’ve lost most of my happiness in these past few years and I would give anything to go back to those days and do it all over again. I miss the simplicity of this game we all love, I miss the simplicity of life. I had a group of friend that I used to play with every day and every night. I’d have build battles with them, fight the ender dragon with them, and every time I got off, I always thought, “these are my best friends, I’m never gonna lose them….” Then now when I load up my 360 once again to check on everything, it says “Bahmo_06 offline for 2 years” I was very young back then and am still young right now, but somehow feel like an old man when thinking of those days. I hope I never forget those days, they’re a safe haven for me whenever I’m feeling stressed. I’ll load up my old worlds and everything comes clear for a moment, than fades away again as I realize I can’t just play with those old friends, I can’t get younger, I can’t do anything. This makes me come back to the good old days. One day, my brother invited his friends to play together, and one of them started playing a weird game, he was building a house, and I asked him what the game was called. "Minecraft", he replied. Then I downloaded Minecraft on my pc, and I started playing immediately. I didn't know about beds, so every night, I'd hide in my underground house and mine 'till the morning. Then, my brother bought a ps3, and when I saw Minecraft, I begged my parents to get it for me. After a few days I was already playing with some of my friends I knew from LittleBigPlanet 2, another game which holds a special place in my heart. And after many years, many memories of me mining, building, having fun with more and more friends. I never had many friends in real life, and thanks to Minecraft many people started liking me, they would always play with me when I invited them. After many years, though, the ps4 launched and my parents didn't have enough money to buy it for us, so I kept on playing on the ps3 until, I had very few people who would still play with me. A small group of friends, consisting in people all from my same country. Incredible to say, but I still talk with them everyday, we now play on the ps4, call on Discord, and sometimes even play with them on the ps3, just to remember those good days. One of those friends happened to be the person I'd fall in love with, and is now my girlfriend. If that one day, I never saw my brother's friend playing that game, nothing of this would've ever happened, and I would've never met those amazing people, and I am so glad I did. Minecraft really holds a special place in my heart, and it's really sad how kids now will grow up with Fortnite, which in my opinion cannot compare to the phenomenom that was Minecraft, but that's just my opinion. This video is really beautiful, it makes so many memories come back. So in conclusion, thanks Minecraft for all these memories, friends, and most importantly, for existing. We will never forget the beauty that was Minecraft.

Nothing, no game ever will beat the memories and friendship's enjoyed daily by Minecraft. The cave game, the game that made us laugh, cry, rage, relax, and most importantly have fun. Sadly those days are over for me, two of my old friends moved away when I was younger and they were the two friends I played with every... Single... Day for 8 hours straight. I remember my brother had an iPod and we we're in our car getting gas when he started screaming, "no no get away", it was night and the zombies were attacking him. I asked what he was playing and he described Minecraft as this, "At night you have to dig underground and hide until it's day because the monsters would kill you". Me and my sister would take turns playing on my mom's phone on a lan world with my brother. Eventually he got an upgrade and I received his iPod I was so happy. I remember instantly getting Minecraft. We had so many world's together, so many plans and ideas we never did, but the things we did do and the memories I have will always be remembered and never forgotten. All the fights we had, we would duplicate tons of everything and then I remember my brother would say he'd give me some but he would take all of it so I would tell our mom about it. Then one day after playing on mobile for a year or so, my brother said, "hurry come to my room". On his Xbox 360 he had the demo version of Minecraft on there. We all sat anxious watching as we loaded into the first ever tutorial world on Xbox 360. Our lives changed at this time. We constantly played spitscreen together and of course the bickering and feud continued between us. Years down the line I got Minecraft on PC the first to do so out of all of us. I was so addicted and me and my friend would play 24/7 and we'd Skype the whole time , good times. My other friend Thomas was a great friend I had on the 360 and we would play all day everyday, until one day or week, I don't know, but over a span of time we stopped playing for a little and eventually I got an Xbox one and I still had him as a friend on xbox but one day he didn't show up on my friends list, already kinda sad by him not being active for a while and never responding, I didn't know what to do or how to find him. I still to this day think about him, where is he, is he the same, does he still play Minecraft. All this will still never be answered, however it's worth the memories I have, I didn't want to go full emotional here but man, Minecraft is special. Most importantly minecraft taught me to enjoy the moment and if you enjoy a moment it will become a memory, one of the most powerful and unforgettable things someone could ever have. A great experience never to be forgotten. Time can't be replaced and should be used wisely, this was back in 2011.
