i built this one build on a little island right outside of my japanese village, as soon as a finished it i made a little bridge above the water and below so when you use a boat you can come on the island with the little bridge and see the shrine, this is really neat man!

Glad to see you back! It's been awhile, was starting to wonder what happened to you. Glad to see you back with yet another charming Japanese-style build. I always love these; small and cute, but still functional, and there's something about that size that feels just right, like it's to scale with the rest of Minecraft somehow. If you're up for considering requests, might I put in for a nice Machiya, a traditional Kyoto-style storefront/townhouse? Always loved the look of them, can't have an Edo Era town without them, but I can never get the scale quite right. Also, a Kura, or traditional storehouse with their white stucco walls kinda looking like miniature castles. As I understand it, they were some of the only non-fortifications to be made of stone or earthwork (terra cotta in Minecraft terms, I'd guess) so as to be fireproof and protect the stores and valuables inside.

Just finished building it on top of a tall narrow mountain in survival. Replaced the gold blocks with copper (shows age and cheaper) and replaced the red banners with white and red circle banners (Japanese flag) and I'm going to add a sword stand in the center. Also changed the foundation to polished stone blocks and added a 5 block wide stairway, 2 high. Looks amazing, can't wait to see how it looks with the sword stand

I'm swapping the Blackstone for deep slate and the gold for Copper or yellow wool cause it's easier to get, but on my friend's server we have a plugin that adds the chance of dropping heads of mobs killed, so I'm making a shrine to the head of a chimken, while everyone is offline, and I'm saying nothing. Absolutely nothing. They will see it once they get online 😂
