Built this in survival. Didn't do it in hours like some of you motivators but the kids approved because I didn't do it in creative. Took me a better part of a week to complete. Prolly would've taken longer if the kids weren't brining me blocks. Great design. Beautiful house. Props to the OP.

im on week 2 working on this house, got tired mining the stone for the roof so i changed it up to be easier to stone from cobblestone. sooo much wood i had to chop. so much mining for iron and coal to make weapons and shovels/pickaxes/axes 😑but it is coming out nicely, im almost done.....now the inside is going to be an challenge. 👍

56 here, started Minecraft with my youngest son around 8-10 years ago. We have a realm that's medieval themed that's around 4 years old, and this will be my new main house I will build in our village that's close to our main city. Right now we are concentrating on the city so I can hang out in the village and build this while my son is at work. Man I can't wait to start this amazing build. And I love doing interiors my way. Okay so I Absolutely love this build I'm currently working on it in my survival world lots of materials. I've been farming the tree farm like crazy lately. But something I do not like is the measurements are off in the beginning so I had me set back by exactly 2 blocks on every square building. Just saying it would have been easier if the measurements were exact. Other than that though this is a great build video. I am still following along. @@K3LH I'am currently building it and made the same mistake, but I'm to lazy to change it and will just leave it the way it is. I was planning to change it to be more "my house" anyways. The problem with the measurements is that I thought the blocks showed in the plan are all of the blocks, but these are the blocks without those red ones. So if there's 20 blocks you have to add those red corners so it's 22 😅

If you are building this in survival I would recommend using scaffold blocks to do the upper portions zof the house to reduce wear on tools breaking down sand dirt or gravel also recommend a large flat area to reduce the amount of terraforming you will need to do

It looks fantastic. And the steps are so clear and precise. I have subscribed to your channel. I can see interiors are not quite your thing. I'm the opposite - I find builds with pointed rooves complicated and difficult to build. I build quite basic structures, but have learnt to jazz them up with lots of texturing and decoration. The inside is a blank canvas. And there's a lot of room! If I copy this build, I'm looking forward to doing the interior! :)

THE AMMOUNT OF DOORWAYS/ARCHWAYS THAT ARENT SEMETRICAL IS KILLING ME as in the distance between the door and the wall isn't the same, the actual doors themselves are fine, but the top of the roof is not symmetrical 😭😭 I love the build though, took me a IRL day and a half to build it in survival, not even gather recourses, which probably took me all in all another 2 days. Completely worth it, it looks amazing

Bro, I have a ton of texture packs and I only use the "natural" one. I guess it's just the one I'm most comfortable with. Also, I don't use the same texture pack as lex and yeah it looks different but you gotta find what works for you with the texture pack yr using if any.. EG: she's using spruce and stone while I'm using dark oak and deep-slate. Some things like the floor I do the same but as far as building I almost never copy the original. I always use different woods and stones.

27:48 The only thing that hurt while building this was the top roof spike not being even. One side is a 3 gap while all the other gaps up top where 2 :/ Otherwise awesome!!!
