*Some observations* 1 - To put the water in the well you need point to the floor, if you point to the blocks on the sides the water will leak. 2 - Place a lever or press the button twice for the vegetables to come together and make it even easier to harvest. 3 - I'm not sure if it works in Bedrock.

To get this to work in Bedrock you just need to make a simple change. Put a dispenser with a bucket of water behind each trap door on the well (facing outward). The redstone is the same - then just press the button once to release the water and then again to stop the water. The well looks almost the same (just less water in it).

This is such a cute build! Adding underground hopper minecarts will allow you to pick up all the carrots/seeds/etc, which will save you the effort of having to collect them manually. Will still have to enter the area to plant the crops though.

I had the same problem I play in mcpe but I found a way for this to still work you have to put 2 dispensers on each end where the trapdoors go and put water buckets in them you also have to replace the button with a lever you can also put trapdoors on the dispensers so it doesn’t look ugly. I hope this helps you guys

For the bedrock players: since trapdoors don't hold the water back for us you can use sticky pistons. To do this you have to dig the redstone part 1 block deeper and put water only in the middle 2 blocks deep. Put the pistons 2 blocks under the ground where the trapdoors would have been and use solid blocks above it. This will close and open the walls of the well when you press the button. I hope I explained it well :)

(If it’s not working: put dispensers and put water in there, it should work, just replace the trapped doors with dispensers, fill them with water and it has the same effect, press the button to let water out, press it again to clear it up,(you could also use a lever if that doesn’t work for you) the red stone doesn’t need to be changed if you do need to to this method; hope this helped some people x

Did you try placing the water by pointing at the ground? She mentioned in a pinned comment at the top that the water will leak if you place the water pointing at the side of the block. I hope that helps!

To all the bedrock players: This build is technically possible. with some heavy modifications. Instead of two trapdoors, you'll need to build the 4 sides of the well with stone bricks and set up a redstone circuit under the well with sticky pistons below the stone bricks, so that when you press the button or flick a lever, the 4 stone bricks lower and release the water in the centre of the well. All the rest of the above-ground aesthetics can remain the same!
