I followed this and here are a few tips I think could help other people: 1. I found a relatively flat plains area with only 2 small mounds that came up to around y80. It still took me around 8 hours to flatten everything to y69 as a lot of the area was still up to y70-71. I think it's much easier to just do 3 passes. 2. While building the 2nd machine, he puts an extra redstone block to stop the first machine. I would just leave that redstone block out as I needed to let the machine run a few more laps to clear out all the blocks in between. 3. When building the 2nd (or 3rd) set of flying machines lower down, I had to move the machines 2-3 blocks inwards to fit in the whole made by the first set of machines. I would recommend building the first machine 4-5 blocks further out to the sides and back than shown in the video, as well as on the return sides. 4. Some have already commented this, but don't leave the area or disconnect while the machines are running. Make sure your simulation distance (not just render distance) is 18 chunks or more so that it is still loaded in 1 corner when you are in the opposite corner. 5. If you have the required farms/resources, I definitely think it's worth it to build the full world eaters with liquid sweepers. They take longer to build and to run layer by layer, but at least you can mostly afk and have to do less work in total
@dancusovier27199 ай бұрын
you said about the simulation distance but I am on a server, will that affect it?

something to remember is to not quit the game while the machines are on. It doesn't break the entire thing, but it can delete the tnt on the machines forcing you to stop the machine and completely break the minecart and rail, replace the tnt, and replace the minecart and rail Edit: It could break the entire duper, sometimes it only deletes the tnt other times it completely breaks the duper. Either way don't leave the game without completely letting the machines stop

the machine keeps stopping but i dont know how to replace the parts, can you help?
@therealwiiman2 жыл бұрын
@@fairladyzee2152 as long as the unit that moves the duper to the right isn't broken, you can make a platform under it and just rebuild the duper part specifically by watching the tutorial. You may have to rebuild the return machine that sends the duper back cause if that already moved even once it will break the duper
@therealwiiman2 жыл бұрын
@@fairladyzee2152 also do you know why it keeps stopping, and is it the duper, the return machine, or the unit that moves the duper to the right that's not working or all of them?

@@therealwiiman thanks for the help, it's the tnt duper which stops when I go far enough from it. I built this on a multilayer server (java) and I have turned my render and simulation distances up well above 16 chunks, yet it still stops whenever I am far from it
@therealwiiman2 жыл бұрын
@@fairladyzee2152 so I'd recommend having rendered distance at roughly 22 - 24 and simulation distance at roughly 20 - 22 if they are not already, that's what I kept mine at. If that doesn't work or if you want to be safe, sit in one of the minecarts to ride with the machine (if you have one) or build a platform in the middle of the tnt dupers to try and keep all of the destroyers in range (you'd have to move the platform every once in a while as the dupers move farther away. Try turning your entity distance up to 500 so you can always see at least the minecarts. You could build chunk loaders in the farther out chunks to help load those, but you'd have to build them higher than the dupers.

TNT drops everything as items but most of the time following explosions destroy them. If you want to get resources, mine exposed ores quickly before the machine makes its next pass. There are quarry systems that collect the resources but they are far more complex.
