I was doing /kill @e [type=mob_name] and i did that to my all monsters cuz I was making world for my 5yo sister and she didnt want any monsters (i know there is peaceful mode but she wanted to eat in minecraft as well but in peaceful mode you cant do that) and when i did /kill @e [type=mob_name] i realized its only working for small part of the map and then i saw your video and i could make this happen to all of the map, so this helped me so much! Tenns it’s impossible to do on bedrock, but what you can do is clone a chest to spot containing the named item, and then another command which destroys the chest instantly, therefore dropping the named item.

it is possible to summon a entity with a name, however not an item, an item has to be done as mentioned by shiv. you can either use a chest and clone then break it, or you can use a dispenser and tp the item.

MrJay I actually discovered a way to spawn a named item into the world using structure blocks and command blocks. I was really proud when I realized it.

most of the tutorials I do are to help people get better at commands so I want people to put there input in that is why I don't explain some of the commands very well, because I want people to type it in, however now that I know there are a wide variety of people watching I may do that, because previously I mainly made my videos for people with higher skill levels

I forgot to show that XP, its actually pretty simple just use the nodes to isolate the bright spots from the dark and make specific parts brighter or darker depending on the color

@@ian3426 ok yeah I would recommend if you want to get better at rendering and using blender then blender guru is a good place he has a coffee cup and donut tutorial, it is a lot of work but it will give you the basic knowledge on how to use it and would probably help you a lot, depends on how worth it, learning that would be for you, also I would recommend downloading McPrep

ticking area makes it where those specific chunks will constantly be turned on, because when you move away to save memory most chunks are temporarily turned off, deleting some information and compressing most, so if it is outside of the ticking area you will need more, that is why you try to keep most of your commands in the ticking area

i know how to use ticking area and i used it for command block, it did make a tickingarea but it doesnt work like it doesnt m,ake the command block run while im out of it's range

it allows it to run out side of the render range. but it doesn't make it run. idk if that was a typo or a misunderstanding. example: if you put say hello in a always active repeating command block and fly away it should continue to run

I can’t find this anywhere so please anyone answer. Does bedrock edition begin with a free ticking area at spawn like java? I downloaded my realm and enabled cheats on the copy. Then I ran the tickingarea list command and saw nothing. However, that could just mean that there are no player created/named ticking areas. Is there a free/unnamed ticking area at spawn in bedrock?

@@inferno2789 the r= means the radius ( of blocks. Not chunks) around the executer so if you had a repeating command block checking for a player in a certain radius you can use r= r=2 radius of blocks. You get the point

that same glitch I believe used to work on xbox one edition but it doesnt work in bedrock. however you can have commands in your survival world on pc and still get achievements

@@MrJCraft definitely works on PS4 with the command block glitch, switch in between survival and creative using command blocks, then you can type the command into the command block and it works perfectly, I use it for the 1 person sleep system.
