mate this is the best and most comprehensive minecraft map i've ever seen - I have spent literally hours exploring it and the attention to detail is mind boggling. Amazing! What would be really helpful are more signs inside the ship to tell you exactly where you are and what type of room/equipment you are looking at - the level of detail you put in deserves no less. Also, would it be possible to create some type of map to help navigating around the interior?

+James Goulding I was thinking about signs and started to make a plan. While it would be entirely possible, i decided not to do it because of the amount of effort it would take. The ship is divided into sections, so a system like: "Ship half (Port and Starboard side are the same, just mirrored), Deck number, Section number, room number" is easy to apply. I did do 256 pictures of each of the map's layers, so i can theoratically take a look at every deck.

I love some of the Star Wars references in here. Like the KDY logo and water falling for the hangers to have the blue tint on them. Also how the turbo laser cannons shoot fireworks that’s neat.

I used McEdit, but I don't think that's really working anymore. It's basically a giant pyramid lying on its side. Not really hard to do.

You mean the little lines on the surface? I actually did those manually. The bridge was really easy, it's just a few flat surfaces. Generally speaking, I did a lot of copy & paste. Build it once complex enough, so that it doesn't look copy & pasted.

It actually is taller than the build limit. You need a mod called "Cubic Chunks" to go in the map.

If you do it full scale you will need "Cubic Chunks" mod for 1.12 to get infinite build limit

This is AWESOME DUDE!!!! Soooooo I have some news ... I just checked Minecraft Java Edition to see what the ceiling is. I stopped at Y:651 (so I didn't go for the ceiling after I passed the Y:549 required if someone were to build the Star Destroyer right on the water at Y:62) and I figure if we can get another 200 or even 300 higher than this can built on world now. I am very excited for this fact. Upon reading your comments in the description, I was worried I wouldn't be able to build a 1:1 Imp II or SSD in world.
