For the majority of my Minecraft-ing life rain was super laggy and blocked all vision. Now it's not nearly as bad, dunno if I got used to it or if they improved it, but I love to be in a safe area and listen to it now.

@@OmegaNasod Actually ur both wrong. With the 1.13 update, the new command is /weather rain, /weather thunder, or /weather clear. And the old command had no space so, /toggledownfall. And I'm pretty sure the /weather command was in the older version too (I think)

Now this is the rain i remember. The other videos have like an HD realistic sounding one but that shit sounded way too good to be the dogshit annoying rain sound you just had to turn off full vol cause ther wasnt an option for rain sounds yet and i didnt know what optifine was xP. Then that would explain it. If you play on pocket or java then the rain has audio so if you want to listen to it while you play, try those versions. Or play on consol if you have it
