About The Game:
Minecraft is a sandbox video game created and designed by Swedish game designer Markus "Notch" Persson, and later fully developed and published by Mojang. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft enable players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat. Multiple gameplay modes are available, including a survival mode where the player must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to build with and the ability to fly, an adventure mode where players can play custom maps created by other players, and a spectator mode where players can freely move throughout a world without being affected by gravity or collisions. But yes, it can be a bit too much for new players. Best thing is, just play until you hit a brick wall in the game and then go into the wiki, check out some guides, etc.

Only grip with this one video is when he mentioned you could walk for 1 hour and not reach the end of the world... He should be told you can walk for your, literally, lifespan and not reach the end of the world... Assuming you have a computer with enough memory to keep generating it, the minecraft "world-generator" caps at around 8 times the size of the actual Earth (notice 1 block = 1 meter).

+Sven Van Mansom it is worth it, especially if you feel like other games of 50 euros are worth it (in your case different since you bought the games very cheap) because you almost have infinite possibilities, you have a lot of normal ways to play it, but then there's mods which can get awesome things like Minecraft/Pokemon (Pixelmon) and there are servers too that use the game to make enormous amounts of Minigames within. For 20€ you can have an unlimited amount of fun which you can't in games with a storyline, these games are done after completing it two times or so

Play Single Player, sadly the community is almost dead at this point, many modders are leaving the game entirely, Non Mega Community servers are hard to find, and recent updates have outright ruined the game I feel (Making a stamina meter for swords). I've been playing since 2012 I still am however much less. I do suggest avoiding the online landscape and either just playing with your friends or alone. I don't play survival mode any more, mostly creative mode just to express some creativity. Overall just avoid online and you'll be fine, have a good day.

Minecraft always makes me soul-searchy when I play it. Every single time, I get into a world, I build a home, and then I stand on top of it during a snowy night and stare at the moon. No joke. I can't help it, it just gets my imagination running. It's what I would do in real life if I didn't have to worry about falling off the roof like Santa in that Tim Allen movie. It's the experience that 10-year-old me from over a decade ago always wanted to have in a game. There's just so much childlike wonder to be had in the idea of having an entire world full of fanastical adventures all to yourself. And the mods? Oh boy, some of those mods are just... delicious. I remember one called the Twilight Forest mod that I LOVED. I dig nighttime environments, so this forest was just a treat for me.

Newer versions kind of have something for completing The End. After killing the Ender Dragon, you unlock portals scattered throughout The End that let you explore the Far End Islands, where you can find the rare Purpur fruit, kill the mysterious Shulkers and explore the towering End Cities. This is also the only way to get a pair of Elytra, also known as a _working pair of wings._ That's some pretty good end-game content.
