but then again i'm not a master builder in minecraft so my own standards are pretty low lmao

This makes me want to make a Minecraft horror map now Nothing with jump scares, mobs, screams, or monsters. Just a massive labyrinth of Liminal spaces, with the occasional puzzle or note. The Quiet Rapture from Iron Lung type concept, notes left behind that illude to the existence of life in the liminal space, but no one around to prove it.

I actually love this, about a year ago I was in a bad place and I found that mindlessly building in minecraft was therapeutic, so I just spent weeks making endless hallways and rooms. This video inspired me to do that again, this time with more variety and aesthetics, so wish me luck!

I just started the video and said, oh god, that silly music is going to ruin the whole video. I was wrong.. It was the most disturbing experience thanks to that music. That was so simple and weird at the same time. This video is incredible. Even those small moments to remove the rain give it a special touch.

As you walk the endless halls, nothing feels normal anymore. You keep searching for some treasure but its not here. You just want to leave but nothing else works. You can't break out, because the hole in the wall will lead you back to the beginning. You don't know how you got here but you want to leave. After a little while you go insane. The possibilities of liminal spaces is endless. All the places you go to are familiar. But still doesn't ring a bell. You find many treasures in the liminal spaces but you dont have a pickaxe. There is no way to escape. From pools to train stations restaurants and offices there is no exit. You start hallucinating and you see people. Until you give up and just live here. It's true you are stuck here. No escape. But you cheat to escape. Bad things will come upon you.

@@iijel0e That's awesome because this honestly seems like the absolute best thing I've ever seen to build in Minecraft, the possibilities are literally endless! (Especially if you just keep putting doors off that main "backroom" hall) Also seems perfect for shaders too, really makes the sometimes standard looking liminal rooms pop and feel that much more ambient or eerie.
