The armadillo should win because it adds more to the game because we don’t have any savanna mobs. I wish they would tell us more about the mobs just for once. Whenever we have to vote for the mobs we always have so many questions. For the crab claw, how do you place blocks further away? Do you put the claw in your offhand? How many blocks does it extend your reach by? For penguins, how do they make your boats travel faster? Do they have to be in your boat? Do you have them on leads? Do they work similar to dolphins? For armadillos, how much health does it increase the wolf by? Does the armor have no durability like with horse armor? These mob votes always leave us more unanswered than answered questions, and it always feels like a shot in the dark when voting. And although they give us the choice to vote, it always feels like we made the wrong decision once the mobs actually get implemented into the game. I've never used allays, sniffers, phantoms, llamas, glow squids, or pandas. Those are literally all of the mob vote mobs. Yeah while i use cats to scare off phantoms, and use wolves to help me in combat, allays are way too hard to manage and very pointless in survival besides trophies, sniffers aswell, phantoms are just annoying mobs with no real uses, llamas while they can have chests on them its very obsolete, glow squids? glow signs i guess, not much point in them, pandas i love collecting them and im a little bia because i love making habitats to collect all the personalities but its literally not the pandas that add features but just me wanting to collect them, i agree with you completely it seems like the mobs they add lack decent features and the votes themselves are to ambiguous.

Kids cannot handle a pressure of choosing which taste of candy they want to get. Like seriously, mob vote NEVER gives anything big. It's about minor features. It's just a GAME Mojang gives the community so they can feel like they're part of the game, and you're all behaving as if they were giving you power to completely reconstruct Minecraft. And I will tell you something; the only reason concepts of those mobs exist at all is because Mojang prepared them specifically for the vote. If mob vote goes away, so does concepts. Taking away the vote doesn't mean we will get all three; it means we will get NONE. What, you think Mojang adds every idea they come up with and the fact they don't in the vote is them being mean? It's part of the normal process of creating virtually anything. I think it’s more of a community interaction thing. They want to give the players the feeling that they’re contributing to the game by choosing a new mob to add. Making the choice permanent adds stakes so that it’s not just pointless. After all, of all the mobs came out eventually I’m sure you’d see people be like “What’s the point in voting? Why should I care? They’ll all be added anyways”

I have a trick: Create two more accounts and vote each of three mobs with one of three of your resulting accounts. (E.g. first account votes the crab, second account votes the armadillo, third account votes the penguin) It creates an equilibrium among three mobs and Mojang will not know what to do about it, resulting in a stalemate. They will tell Microsoft about it. It's up to you to think how will Microsoft counter it.

I'm surprised Mojang hasn't removed shovels as they represent hard work. That's so true like they're really not that hard to design and to be fair I don't expect major changes from any of these mobs. Extended range may only give you 2 extra block, dog armor would barely protect your dog and faster boats won't work if you trapped your penguin on your boat as your companion.
