Lodestones are fun for creating quests / scavenger hunts for your friends. Also they can make compass needles in item frames point in a specific direction which is interesting -- I used that in a redstone minigame one time. We also have a lodestone at each major base, and we each have a shulker of compasses to those locations, but they don't see much use. I'd play with them more if they weren't so obscenely expensive.

Just a reminder: lodestones lose their very own purpuse if you use the quick paste coords toggle for creators in Bedrock Edition. Simply take a paper and rename it in an anvil by pasting the coords from the quick save. Same for recovery compasses if you are about to die and quickly open the chat and copy your coords in an instant. It could not be easier

I play on a proximity voice chat java server where coords are turned off, and we're not allowed to use natural languages to communicate. The chat, signs, etc are turned off too. Lodestones are pretty neat. in that situation. (the coordinate thing is not enforced very heavily, but the honor system has left a netherite, diamond, and iron block right in front of spawn for more than half a year despite being a somewhat public server, so I don't think it needs to be enforced.) (we're allowed to rename nametags to stuff like "." and "dinnerbone" .)

I love lodestones, and they can be super handy if your base isn't near spawn and you forget your coords, just way too expensive to be practical. What would be practical? Removing the build height limits and giving us invincible boats.

I actually have a bunch of lodestones set up at different points throughout the nether. Each compass points me directly to a portal that will take me somewhere in the overworld. ie. Ancient City, End Portal etc.

I DO use lodestones! It's dumb, but I don't like leaning on remembering the coordinates for home. I am actually crazy happy about the pearl stasis chambers, though! I'm sort of the resource guy in my family and on our realm, I run all the farms. Being able to farm while not physically at the farms is a good thing to me.

Honestly at this point Minecraft devs are holding that third dimension for when there concurrent players count drop hard and instead just dropping utterly pointless update for bedrock and adding stuff to Java that’s literally what bedrock is starved for now literally for years. Entity cramming building on the nether roof and no mob caps are what the player base really wants for parity.

Hey Silent. There's a new weird Bug that's been happening with my villager iron farm / trading hall on realms. I've had it happen a few times where one of my Villagers just teleports outside of the building. Or on top of the beds over the water funnel. They are all my maxed out villagers and its all random with whichever one teleports outside the building I've been able to get them back inside before they died but just a Bug I think you might be interested in

I'm curious about how the ender pearl chunk loading+ticking will affect server performance. When I created a test mob as a Bedrock add-on with the "tick the server in a 6 block radius" enabled and let it spawn in naturally, after only a dozen or so instances it caused noticable lag in the game. And this was with me playing locally on my own PC - not a Realm.

I HAVE used the lodestone with the compass before. In my current world I am sans coordinates and will look to add a lodestone to the nether side of my base. My portal went to a laughably bad spot ( an open ledge in a basalt delta) so I don't go in there to often but I'll get to it

Hi I built the moss farm and it was very good and it produced very good moss which converted into bone meal and it was very cool but now that minecraft has been updated to the latest version the farm requires more bone meal than it produces and it is not practical I hope that you have a solution for this problem because i shut the farm off and i didn't use it for a while I don’t know exactly whats may the problem be
