from my testing the piston example is purely a nerf by adding randomness to the piston update order, the only thing it might affect would be powered rails. (maybe the slime block thing is affected too)

In that case ypu wpuld be able to carry 64 totems of undying in one slot. You must be talking about 16 obes like snowball, enderpearl but I don't think that's a big problem since they're ment to be 16 each stack at the beginning

@@teknoshadowwashere I acknowledge that and understand why it seems OP, but being able to do something with my non-stackable items is where the current system only helps a little. SimplySarc had a great video a while back breaking down a lot of these concerns (though some of them have been resolved) and pointing out how the concept doesn't really resolve the larger inventory issue. I also acknowledge that I will have plenty of uses for the bundle as it is in the current irritation, just wanting a little more out of it. Being able to free up a handful of inventory spaces without having to resort to using shulkers in an ender chest. Even just cutting the fill value in half rounded up would be an improvement (so 64 would stay, 16 would double to 32, and non-stackable would double to 2). It's not much, but it would be a huge help.

Bundles are cool but nonstackable items should not fill the entire bundle... they should've made a whole new system that allows the bundle to hold up to 64 of any stackable or nonstackable item same for items that only stack up 16 and etc Also would be cool if you could upgrade them or put bundles in bundles with it only taking up one slot... As for minecarts, just an idea but it would also be cool if they swap the old powered rail recipe with copper and make an ultra fast rail that uses gold. You place one down and you can use them sparingly as you would go really fast In the future they should something more powerful than the shulker box that can a hold at least up to a double chest worth of items. Speaking of which there should be storage options maybe a triple chest? They could do this for a end update 😉

The copper instead of gold makes sense as well because copper is commonly used as a conductor of electricity (hence the lightning rod recipe) and the powered rails remind me of smaller model trains which have an electrically charged rail that powers the train.

The copper idea is great, it might corrode easier, but we don’t need 100% realism. But then, powered copper rails would be easier to make then normal iron ones. As for the unstackable items in bundles, I can see some shenanigans happening with 64 full written books inside bundles, 27 in a shulker,, 54 in a double chest. Something like stack overflowing a chunk?

You don’t need to carry around more than 2 sets of armour, loot armour is almost always useless, so you’d only be sacrificing 4 slots without shulker boxes.

I don't really like the new bundle crafting recipe. The old recipe gave a use to rabbit hide, and made more sense. i do understand that Mojang want it to be very easy to get and bundles being crafted with leather make it way easier. But im just happy its here 😁❗

I'm trying to see why bundles are an thing Bundles are supposed to be vanilla backpack, helping you with your stacks and moving many items at once But for some reason, it's stack only Let's say you go mining and you have your 5 bundles with you You will come back with random values of ores, but also 8 stacks of stone, how will bundle help you? Stack different ores togheter? That's not nearly as useful as get rid of the stone and stack many itens

3 coal, 6 redstone, and 7 lapis are waiting for the bundles. 3 melon seeds, 2 string, 6 rotten flesh, and 4 gun powder are waiting for bundles. The 10 types of flowers you collect are waiting for bundles. The extra resources from building like the bits of stairs and trapdoors are waiting for bundles.

The bundle, to me, should hold 27 items since it cannot be placed down like a shulker box that gives it a disadvantage right our of the gate, limiting it to just a stacks worth of items (or just one nonstackable item) is overly limiting even early game. Also making this change they could get rid of the partially full/full bundle inside of another bundle for balancing it out but more portable storage early on would be a great thing to have, especially if when you die all the items don't explode out. One thing I'm curious about though is if a mob picks up a bundle do all the items remain inside or do the items disappear or will the mob simply not pick it up at all?

Mojang should introduce a new block called the "Rotter Block." It's essentially a trash bin with a basket-like design, intended to replace the barrels typically placed below hoppers. Its function would be to hold items placed by either the player or a hopper for a single Minecraft day (or for a duration determined by the game designers). After this period, the items would be deleted in the order they were disposed of.

What i love and hate... Love. Minecart Enhancements... Finally to much elytra. Love the cheap bundle recipe, now i can save my rabbits. Redstone update is going to be intresting with double piston extenders for doors... Bundles holding set weight needs tweaking. Instant dropper lines, thank god for this. LOVE Baby Animals, was one of the things missing from java. We serisouly need movable vertical redstone via glass in java.

Mojang should do a unfulfilled promise update, that contains the update they said to add but wasn't able to and some of the biome votes.

mojang's interest in quality of life changes in this snapshot is very encouraging!!! i wonder if it will tie in to minecraft live or if they have unrelated features they plan to reveal at that time!

Bundles feel kinda meh to me. They have a use but it feels pretty narrow and most useful early game. 64 of any item in an advanced bundle wouldn't be over-powered mid game and with a recipe to match. Like 4-6 rabbit hide, string, and a mid-game "magical" resource (breeze rod maybe?).

Bundles LOL... it would be awesome if we could implement a bundle into our pants or chest piece. Like crafted cargo pants or pocketed vest. Or possibly Carpenter pants that increases the slots on the hotbar LMAO. Ridiculous brainstorming hahaaa I didnt see the bat change here. I was curious if the bats spawn in any dark space in the overworld now, when they spawn in MOB FARMS, do they count towards the mob cap? If so that will suck.

I can't test it now, but the default minecarts speed is actually faster now then the maxspeed of minecarts before? If yes, I hope they make the default higher, it dosen't really make sense adding the ability to make them faster with only a command
