yeah to be fair i’m sure if people could change player animations, they’d worry of “bed for roommates” activities… even though i’m sure they’re heavily moderated

Plenty of addons just make it so you can sit on the custom beds at least. Not sure why they didn’t do that here. Also everything on the marketplace is reviewed by Mojang, so no way anyone gets that type of animation through anyway. Not to mention there’s a few addons on the marketplace with custom animations.

@@LluviaAva Replying to both of you, but primarily to OP: The only reason bedrock "restricts" animations is because animation packs are meant to be sold, not included within addons themselves. There are plenty of addons that HAVE "free" animations bundled in but those animations are usable without the addon being installed, you're not allowed to have animates that are directly tied solely to the addon (in short, you can't have animations that REQUIRE the addon, but you can have custom animations be included WITH addons)

this is a pretty good add-on but things that could be better is 1. the aurora could be little easier on the eyes it's a little to intense right now, and 2. It would be good if the campfires where a hybrid block entity sorta like another add-on called the alchemy add-on and you should make it so you can extinguish it and light it again. but all in all this is a good add-on to add a little ambiance and liveliness to your world.

Any opacity considerations for that aurora? The intensity is too high, and the animation--while not inaccurate to how fast they can, and do undulate--should vary between a more moderate, and sedate pace on top of the max speed they've been known to "flow" at. Having seen that really good, and clear view during the big October flare, the first-hand viewing experience tells me that the visual opacity of the aurora needs to be turned at least 50% down to look its best. They're bright when really vivid, but not quite so opaque against the night sky.

I've been collecting addons from the marketplace regularly i hopes to make a modpack-like situation. Unfortunately, theres sometimes addons like this where there's multiple ideas all together. With the faries, aurora borealis, and mob detector, it doesnt feel like everything fits the same theme. Making it a random call to add into a themed addon pack.
