timing a startup (place second minecart and jump the first very quickly) in like this is more annoying than mining gold or diamonds.. i'd suggest, dont pull the lever until yr already sitting in the cart... simple

I made a little modification on his design, all you need to do on my design is place a minecart on the starting rail, where he placed the first minecart, and push a button. the button dispenses a minecart on the upper rail, where he placed the second minecart, it activates the rail under it, it clips to the cart you are sitting in and it starts going. It is fully automatic and to get the minecarts back just use a simple cactus destroying machine or something.

I built a 5000 block railway which was to the nearest desert from spawn. ALL powered rails, all in survival. I used a rail generator to get the materials. Still needed 5 stacks of redstone torches and an afternoon/ evening digging and track laying with my cousin.

This is pretty good, but I find it much easier if you just place the minecarts via dispenser, instead of having to drop one onto the other with the whole slab setup.

There's actually a better way to do this... Put a saddle on a pig and put the pig in the Minecart, then have something nudge you a little bit and you will go forever!

One nice way to show the hit boxes is doing the F3 + b. that will display the hit boxes of all entities.

I have a minecart system through the Overworld that goes through tons of biomes, but I found a bug that kills mobs wandering on my rails. I wonder if it's one of those bugs that will never be fixed or a hidden feature brought by Minecraft 1.11.

You said you needed 4 powered rails to be all technical but in reality you only need 3 for you just need 1 at the end for it to stop on and start again. That whole thing is to create the whole thing.

Actually put down around 6 mine carts and you won't need rails after and it won't stop the direction it goes until you hit a block and if you do to go forward again press the key that usually is opposite of the forward key you will move forward

You don't need to quickly enter the bottom cart after placing the top cart. Just hop in the bottom cart and place the top cart and it'll fall on you.

You don't need any rails if you just create the first booster but no other rails you can glide along the ground with no rails underneath and it is so fast that when I did it I drank a swiftness and I still couldn't catch up with it!

Works even for 1.7 lol i tried it with tnt minecarts you put a rail put one minecart and then go next to the rail mine two blocks down and then under the minecart u can see or interact with rail so put more on the rail and it will put it on the fisrt minecart and when u push them and there is no more rails and just flat ground it will keep going forward forever! But dont let it hit a wall or fall from high ground cuz it will explode!(BOOOM) So yeah ur is just waste of gold and time u only would need normal rails a button and 2 minecarts not even 1 powered rails !!!

Doesn't work on Xbox One Version. Mine carts on powered rails just stage themselves and don't move unless there is another rail connected to the powered rail. So the first cart won't drop on the second lower one, it will just stay staged until something pushes it or is in it manually moving it.

well .... my railsystem in survival is up to 3000 rails long with 19 stops .... mining tunnels farms storage systems and mainbase your information is invalad even tho my rail system is straight the carts eventually shoot apart in different directions i solved that issue by letting them act like a train one in front the other but i have 4 long powered rails every 64 normal rails and theirs a torch keeping them on
