thats actually not it at all, c418 wants to rightfully own the rights to the music even if it is used in minecraft, but microsoft themselves WANTS to own it, so they've never been able to come to an agreement, thats why we've gotten tracks from new artists who are fine with letting microsoft own the music

I wrote a more in depth review of each song on another channel's upload, but here is a more brief one: Featherfall: Beautiful, maybe snow biome music? Somehow Aaron manages to make a "softer" piano sound with each new release. Watcher: Does a lot from what is mostly a piano solo, a very different take on it than C418 but I love it. Puzzlebox: PLEASE tell me this is new creative music, it fits in seamlessly with the other Volume Beta tracks. komorebi: "Sunlight Filtering Through the Trees" in Japanese, and yep, that is absolutely what this song evokes. pokopoko: Rain music? This has to be rain music. It is so perfect! yakusoku: Another song that I think might be snow music, the bells make me imagine a vast snowy landscape. Deeper: This sounds like the 1.16 Nether tracks (Plus the name could be a reference to "We Need To Go Deeper"), Warped Forests are the only Nether biome without a Lena Raine track and this especially fits the biome. Eld Unknown: This is what happens when you combine Stickerbush Symphony with Celeste. I have no idea where it might play but I'm excited. Endless: Definitely another take on Infinite Amythest, but with elements from 1.19's OST. I think I prefer this. Creator: Besides being a hugely different from anything else in Minecraft, the instrumentation choices in this are some of the most creative I've ever seen. Creator (Music Box): I wonder how this will actually be implemented - It is probably the oxidized copper music disc, but how do you oxidize an item? Precipice: EDM IN MINECRAFT??? The fill at 52:21 is INSANE! I love this so much. Also, why doesn't the copper trapdoor activate from the pressure plate? Related, please Mojang fix the copper trapdoor crafting recipe so its the same as iron trapdoors, they are SUCH A SCAM.

Komorebi is without a doubt the most memorable track on this soundtrack. It was the song that touched me the most in an unexpected way, bringing feelings ranging from melancholy to tenderness, almost like the first half of Mice on Venus, like a hug from a loved one saying "Hey, everything will be okay. It's just a phase. Enjoy it and have a little adventure." In Japanese, Komorebi refers to the sunlight that passes through the leaves of trees, and when I first heard this song in my world, I decided to witness the sunset through the leaves of an oak tree. Certainly a different style to these tracks, but I like it they sound very nice. It's always fun getting new Minecraft music and seeing what sort of style they are, and especially when it comes to music discs! I can already see a few of these becoming some of my favorites, so that's exciting for me.

I noticed an error in the video: at one point in the loop, Efe steps on a pressure plate (at approximately 0:08 ) that's next to a trapdoor. But the trapdoor doesn't respond to the pressure plate at all. Yes, it's small, but with all the other redstone stuff happening in the video, I'm kinda surprised they missed that.

@minecraft CONGRATULATIONS!!!! FINALLY AN UPDATE NOBODY HATES OR THINKS URE BEING LAZY WITH! Actually tho, even if the full release is just this, it would be up there with the Nether Update. Everything about it amazing! Creator seems like otherside: the sequel and all of the music is just AMAZING! Like with the last two updates, everyone was peeved. But this update, Has so much content. And it's not even out yet! Mojang, I think you found it again. That classic Minecraft spirit. THIS is what modern Minecraft should feel like. Experiment with whatever you want, instead of making the updates feel like you're trying to just make it new blocks (yea i do realize how ironic that is). It should be revolutionary. So what if you end up changing half the game, atleast it's better than ... new woods added Instead it should be filled to the brim! Don't overwork yourselves, but put in effort at least! Don't "try" to make the community feel satisfied. Test out the craziest ideas, and if they're fun, add it to the game! That's why it's called a sandbox. Thank you for your time.
