Minecraft PE SUPER SIMPLE ID LOCK DOOR! (PE/Xbox/Windows10/Switch)

After last week I felt like I needed to just make something simple… thankfully although being simple, this build is still pretty awesome! So today I make a super simple ID Lock Door for Minecraft Bedrock Edition (PE/Xbox/Windows10/Switch)

If you want to do this in java all you have to do is have an empty hopper running into the item filter hopper and the droper running into that empty hopper. Because for some reason in java the droppers will only drop items in to empty hoppers!

Same, I made sure no redstone signals were going through diagonal blocks (because redstone mechanics have been changed recently). Coming out of the chest I put a comparator and then a repeater, I made sure the redstone connected to the door in a way that works and I put another repeater where the redstone and the door weren’t connecting. It does work

the red stone is deactivating the torch even with the button, does this work in 1.16.4? edit, i found a work around. since red stone works a tad differently in 1.16, the dispenser is always powered and can’t activate. however if you flip the system upside down, and use a half slab under the comparator, it works perfectly

I just moved the dropper over one and added another hopper to feed into the one under the torch.Obviously you have to mover the door over one and add another redstone dust to connect it

@@threebody596 If you are playing Java Edition and don't get this issue then you have either an old version or modded, because this specific build doesn't work in the latest Java Edition. The redstone torch in this build powers the dispenser/dropper from an angle, and thus the button does nothing as the dispenser is always receiving power

oh yeah. I was able to solve this. turns out minecraft console sucks. And the redstone doesnt obey the same laws. I got minecraft java on pc and it works fine.
