Minecraft - Pigstep Orchestral Cover

I've been wanting to make this one ever since I heard the original with the Nether Update 1.16's release. My very first thought when I heard it was "This would be dope with a choir" and so there it is. Of course time went by and I eventually got up my lazy ass and actually finished it, not without some encouragement from my friends which I appreciate greatly. Anyways, I love Pigstep, and I always felt that it gave off this hellish feel that I hope I managed to portray here. Of course just like most of my songs the artwork I had made for this definitely helps portray the Minecraft nether the way I envision it!

Pigstep was meant to be a cool, dubstep music. Turning it into an orchestra gives it this kind of, kingdomish feel. It's like an anthem of piglins or something they would sing when forging equipment. It sort of reminds me of Erebor from The Hobbit. I feel like this fits the best for the Nether Update trailer. Keep up the good work, bud.

So, one time, I was playing on a Minecraft factions server that I really liked, and decided to go hardcore. I would never get on the server when I died. It went well for a while, my little brother gave me his entire full chest of totems, and I even had my own glitched iron pickaxe that could mine spawners! but, still. So, I ended up being able to get to the nether, and I needed pearls to escape danger; so I traded with the piglins for a while. _Oh boy, Hoglins are dangerous. they took more than 3 totems from me._ Sadly, I died to one, but not the way you'd expect. So, I was trading with a piglin, when a hoglin came up to me and *_broke my gold armor!_* Depressingly, totems don't heal you to enough health, so *the piglin killed me since my gold armour broke.* _R.i.p._

The Nethers boss, The Demon of Temptation. A nether ginormous zombie piglin covered in Enchanted Netherite Armor and Enchanted Golden weapons. And extremely health and damage infliction. Whats standing between you and the boss is the way out of this hell realm because of the scroll of endless materials. The scroll is a legendary Artifact made only and soley from the Nether and only one can be found. The scroll can summon any materials by two stacks of materials you need, but has a 6 minecraft day cooldown. Using it constantly could burn the scrolls power, and to use it you must sacrifice 25 levels experience. When the overworld residents found out about this scroll people because obsessed with the scroll. But when they gotten their hands on them they transformed into Piglins with no memory of why they're here but only one reason is to protect the gold and scroll for their God/Demon. This was the "gods" punishment for others being greedy pigs on trying to take the scroll for selfish needs, thus being fed up with the humans Temptation for power, the Demon hid the scroll with a map buried deep in the Nether realm in the many fortresses that was made for them. Hence finding the scroll the 'god' angered by this humans resistance on finding it, blocks every portal connection to the overworld realm and removes the player of its obsidian, and flint and steel for a long battle. The piglins wanting to resist fights you too sending a huge swarm of them coming at you. This was the Nethers 1 of 7 "gods", this was the "God"/Demon of Temptation. Oh and the reason why we don't transform into Piglins is because the gold armor, the gold is like a holy Artifact to piglins and the gods of the Nether, so using gold from the overworld as armor doesn't transform you into piglins.

You walk into the strange building made of a strange black material like the stone back home. The building is empty but soon you come across a room with multiple pig like creatures equipped with axes, bows, swords and armour of gold. You hid behind a wall to avoid sight as you equipped your iron blade. Then, you hear something behind you. Before you can react your hit with a powerful swing of an axe a you see something truly unholy. Similar to the pig creatures but, bigger, it seems angrier, stronger. You notice in its swing it broke your chest plate, your only defence. Quickly to rush further into the construct finding a chest, the beast isn’t far behind now accompanied by multiple of the creatures you saw earlier. The look inside the chest to find only a gold chest plate but it will have to do. You equip it just as the brutes reach you but suddenly before it can swing. The big one stops in its tracks and walks away along the others. You feel relieved that they left so thinking you’re safe you take of the chest plate. Then. You hear it. There were more of them.

As I wandered aimlessly through the hellish landscape that was called the nether, coming across monsters made of nightmare and shadow, I thought I had found sanctuary. But as I approached, I heard the blood-curdling sound that could only be described as a war cry grate across my eardrums like nails on a chalkboard. As I watched, hundreds of creatures, somewhere between human and boar, pored out of the towering black building, all surrounding me and brandishing aging gold swords and gilded crossbows. I whatched as they let through one of them in ebony armor, wielding a battle axe with ease. I wanted to run but was rooted to the spot, as if the roots of the massive fungi themselves were holding me in place. I unsheathed my rusty iron sword, shabby in comparison to theirs, and stood my ground. I yelled my own cry in that moment, and thought I heard music from somewhere, a song that would fit in on a battlefield, like the one the ground I was standing on was some to become.
