Minecraft PSX Documentation [10] - 20-02-24

"Minecraft Playstation Edition" is a game developed by Mojang Studios in the Year 1998 in a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment for the Playstation Console released in 1994, this game was a pre-cursor to the classic 'Minecraft' of 2009, although not many people are aware of it due to it being pulled from store shelves just a year after release with only a 1000 or so copies ever being sold, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a copy at a retro game store about a month ago, here's my experience with the title.

Any help to learn more about the game would be appreciated as I'm still learning about it myself and plan to continue my exploration into the title more on this channel

Well Damm, the game just decided to be super unfair to you for no reason, there goes your stuff I guess. As for the first time you died your life bar wasn’t that low to die of that small fall damage, I presume something or someone might have inflicted you more damage purposefully. As for the message to check the woods maybe there is the house from the title screen there somewhere? I dunno just speculation on my end. PS: Just a little advice, don’t let the game get to your head, maybe it is what it wants, be strong and take care! Tho you should definitely take a rest if you need to, your health both physically and mentally is what counts here.

That falling damage is really strange, maybe something is trying to lure you into the woods, but who knows what thing is in there.

When it means check the woods maybe the coordinates from the in-game screenshot could help? The fall damage was a very weird thing to happen as well, that should have been half a heart at most not half your entire bar...was it something trying to get you to return after you ignored the woods message, or maybe getting to close? It seems this entire game has been focused on trying to wear your down mentally, but sure to take breaks if you need em

your death cord is X: 1024 Y: 89 Z: 49. take the quickest route you can to them and you should be fine. unless for some reason the dev team made it to where it disappears, though it's unlikely.

I know this will sound a bit out of taste, but have you tried creative mode? Or a least something that me and my brother have done before, make a copy of your world and make it creative to explore around in? I know it doesn’t sound the most like the most authentic Minecraft experience but it might prevent you from losing more stuff

That first death should not have happened from such a small drop, with half health, and wearing armor. Could the game be telling you to explore the cave you died in front of? Because it looked like you may have been coming up on a forest biome, so maybe that's where you need to "check the woods".

ya know what? im willing to bet all of these freaky stuff thats happening, like all of these strange noises, the woods catching fire, and the supposed "Herobrine"? I say they are all glitches. its just a thought, but I think at one point during development, they suddenly needed to reach a deadline, so they rushed the game, and I bet this is why the game didn't sell well, because of all of these glitches freaking people out. id think the "Herobrine" in this game is just a glitch that may be something to do with this game's multiplayer, as seen in the trailer, maybe for all the game is doing, its struggling to comply the two player stuff, and so I think "Herobrine" is just a result of the 2nd player. and as for the freaky noises and that invisi-mob from the Overworld and The Slip? I say that was done intentional! because game developers put creepy stuff in videogames all the time! but hey, its just what I think!

in minecraft, anything you can do in vanilla isn't really considered cheating reminder that minecraft is a sandbox game, without any rules [even if there are some, they're super minor] changing game rules, in java edition, is really easy and not considered cheating
