I think Iskall just didn't undertstand that Cap means atoms and not adams. In German, with some drinks it's similar to Swedish, the 't' in Atom is (how do you say this) it's penetrant? You can hear the t out I mean, maybe that's where the miscommunication is at

@@Daniel-dj7fh British people would generally say /'a-təm/. (In case you don't know, /ə/ represents the neutral vowel sound, such as the u in "uhhhh...") Jordan pronounces it /'a-dəm/ which is the American pronounciation. (the only difference being that since the t is in-between vowels it becomes a d-sound) But Iskall says /'a-täm/ (ä as in the "a" in british "bath" or the american "cot/caught") which is probably why he didn't understand since there was a two-letter difference in pronounciation instead of one.

I’m genuinely curious how many speed runners he knows and has made content with. Pete is already there, but I don’t know who else he could get. He also doesn’t like reaching out since he thinks he’s bothering people as seen with his talks about multiplayer series like Origins or Trollcraft or Mianite. I was certain that I’d misheard her, of course - if for some reason they had been doing something that disturbingly concerning, there was no way she’d just mention it so casually. Still, I spent the next few minutes wracking my brain, trying to figure out what on earth they could have been getting rid of at her work that sounded like “Asians”. As a native British English speaker I used to get confused by this all the time, a good rule of thumb I've learned is that Americans tend to pronounce "t"s like "d"s and "o"s like "a"s, which definitely clears up the confusion for this situation

Hearing “yes the strange quark has a property to it called strangeness” would be pretty confusing to anyone coming from the rest of basic algebra-based (and even nuclear) physics.
