The only problem that I've seen with this in action, is whenever I tried it inside my test world (minecraft version 1.8) it did not act as a T-Flip Flop so I would suggest for users now that they should put a regular t flip flop in. I don't even really understand how it worked for you because you made a monostable circuit which is the opposite of a T-Flip flop. Also, just as a side note I'm not trying to hate, I'm just trying to give a heads-up to those of us who want to use it now :)

you should find a redstone command for extended inventory! maybe that torch in your hand is actually chest that opens when you right click, but you don't have to place it down. That would be amazing to see in vanilla minecraft

A good idea would be to disguise the secret entrance by making the bookshelves act as they were to power up the enchanting table but they also hide the secret room!

I did this in my creative just to integrate it to my hardcore world. Your t flip flop is the easiest for me to understand

couldn't you just use another button in place of the trapped chest? and if you replace both the traped chest and the button with levers and then replace the T Flip-flop with .... I think it is called an XOR gate it should work to, its a little more redstone but you only need two pistons instead of three

I took tis concept and expanded it to move two blocks from the left, the right and the floor to make a two block wide by three block high door. Running the wires was the hardest part. The main control room is almost impossible to walk in because of all the wires.

You could use a reg chest that has a hopper under it and put an item in it for it to work like a hopper timer
