I know he’s become a huge PoS over the last few years but he was a huge part of my childhood. While yeah.. I can just re-watch their old content or their new ones, it doesn't feel the same and it just feels bittersweet. LOL when you showed Stampy playing minecraft for the first time or DanTDM playing the pokemon mod made me cry alot!! When I was younger, I used to play Minecraft with my siblings all the time. We would make world after world, survival or creative. But eventually, we would go do our own things and the world would get deleted. Now, my siblings are in collage and don’t really play as much. But we still create an occasional server or world. Even right now, as I watch this video, I’m working on a creative world for one of my siblings. It’s kind of melancholy, to know that eventually, all this work will be deleted from the world forever. I guess what this is all saying is that I completed get that feeling.

I made the world with them, It wasn’t big only the two of us with the occasional friend or family member joining in, but every time I boot up that world I feel a deep urge to cry as I walk the hallways of a unfinished mega build, of unfinished farms, of our memories placed in 1s and 0s. Listen, I've barely played Minecraft a day in my life, but what you've said in this video struck a bittersweet chord in me. There's something so melancholic about playing a game with your friends, whether that be physically or online, and drifting away from it because you and your peers have simply grown out of it. Sometimes special people come into our lives, stay for a bit, and then they have to go. But as long as your experience was a pleasant one, then that's what makes it all worth it. Childhood is such a beautiful thing, and I know Minecraft was a huge foundation of so many children's lives. It's gotten to that point where hearing a gameplay video of the music alone triggers familiar memories for so many people, and yet those memories are out of reach as their heart aches for a simpler time. And that's something everyone can relate to. Once again, your editing skills are top notch. Love the shots of those aesthetic backgrounds and builds; it makes me feel so warm and cozy! Super underrated stuff; so glad I subscribed to you.

Just found your channel today as a result of Clair de Lune. I've now watched a dew of your video now, and I've gotta say, these are some of the best video essays I've listened to in a long time. This one feels very special to me. I've been playing since around 2013, so I've had my fair share of 0's on the timer. Last year, me and my friends started a little project by the name of Old Jersey. Basically a city, that is best described as "Murphy's Law in a physical form." It's pretty chaotic, to say the least. It helped to boost my creativity on storywriting quite a bit. But sadly, around beginning of this year, I... lost passion for it, and haven't really added anything. That last line about the worlds waiting for us all to come back for us to relive memories, It hit hard. Similar to how you remember videos and conversations you had while making builds, so do I. Thank you for reminding me of these memories, you have for sure gained a new sub. I hope my timer reaches 0 once again soon.

There was a world done with a group of friends who i just dirft apart due to life. It still on a thumb drive that was given to me by a friend since i requested it. It still all there. The buildings and the pets that we all leftt behind. I visit recently and its kind of sad to see the pet forever sitting down, waiting for their long absent owner to come. Nothing i can do to help stop their endless waiting unless you count death as an option. The player's names still linger in the kills board and their build remain empty till i log back in that day. A community chest with a sign saying do not steal will remain untouched. The world soul shall forever remain in stasis in that little red thumb drive There was another origin smp sever that i uses to play in. The people there are nice and i get to live out my dream of roleplaying as a witch living in a small cottage situated in a dark oak forest with a small floating island as the enchantment set up. God now to think about it, properly was my most favourite build to date. Just love the concept, unfortuntely at that time, I did not appreciate much. Think by now, it have been gone either from the sever restart or griefing. Cant even get into the sever since I deleted it as well the discord sever. Not sure what they up to now. Another was a realm playing with my secondary school friends, having this cute underground house with a camping theme as my bedroom and the outside is decorated with mushroom.. I build some fishing hut nearby since it was close to a river and even a giant glass bottle to serve as my potion shop that no one uses so really an over the top potion room. It have been long gone by then Another was a single player world, spawn near to a witch hut which i was terrified of and build up a full on iron gear with a sword and shield in a small cave and with my bravery, storm into the hut. Killing the witch as fast as possible which was not much really in hindsight. Took over her house and even her cat who i think named blackie.

The game that sparked my interest in video games was Minecraft. It was the first game I played and it's definitely my most played game. I went through hard times from 2019 to 2021 due to my mental disorders. I isolated myself and started playing video games to escape my fears. I created a new single player world and it turned out to be the greatest world I've ever created. I built flying villager city islands with connecting subways, huge farms and a nether highway and defeated the dragon for the first time. As my mental health improved over the years, this world became a symbol of hope and happiness for me. One day I found a cat disk and it inspired me to name the largest city "Cat City". very creative i know. This song became the epitome of comfort for me. But then something terrible happened. I rebooted my PC but didn't back up my world. My cats are gone :( I'm perfectly fine today but I miss them a lot. This world made me realize that I can achieve great things in my own way. Today I create my own worlds. I write stories. The project I'm working on is even based on Minecraft and its dimensions :)

My favourite server was with my ex, we were too broke for actual minecraft so we found a random server that allowed 20 people to join and played on it for like a year on and off and me playing for an extra year after he stopped playing. It was my first time ever being able to play with someone else, he gave me a minecraft cat and i cried (i actually made a cardboard cat look alike that i still have), we made a whole bunch of memories on there. A year back the whole server crashed, they had to restart the world and I never played on it again cause it wasn't the same, I miss it. I'd love to visit it, still hoping that one day it might be possible but it probably won't. I currently just started a new world with my current partner, first time ever playing modded minecraft actually, we've made another one for our friends without minecraft too, both are starting to hold a special place in my heart and it's only been like 2 weeks since they started. I can't want for the memories were's gonna make and then look back on.

I remember wanting to make a server with minigames with my friend my cousin and we built lots of stuff on creative mode. We made more friends and together we even remade a counter-strike map in minecraft. We built instant reloading crossbows and we were switching to adventure mode to PVP eachother with crossbows like in CS. We even made a creeper city. But since then, I only knew of my friend I started the server with being active, but the others were left behind, and sadly, the map was lost due to Aternos server inactivity. We made another server with better minigames and we got another friend, we re-built everything a bit differently. I even started to make a skyscraper, but just left it as a tall house. Eventually, that server got abandoned as well, but I still have the map to this day. I even got the old map which was found in one of my really old disks. I'm still with my friend I started with and my cousin. I didn't know anything about the other friends we made along the way. I hope I could meet them again someday.
