I Made Minecraft Literally Impossible
In this video I play Minecraft 1.18 with the Weather, Storms, and Tornadoes mod (also known as the Weather2 mod). The mod adds different natural disasters and weather phenomena, such as tornadoes, sandstorms and more. It makes the game more fun, exciting and hard! I will be trying to beat the game in survival (trying to survive the natural disasters).

@@vibrantgleam It's usually a pretty noticeable sign. First, it'll start as a small rain storm, but quickly grow to be a thunderstorm and winds will pick up. At this point, a "mesocyclone" or wall cloud is forming somewhere, so look to the skies and try to look for larger spinning clouds. These storms may sometimes have these features and not have a wall cloud, so don't get worried about every single one. If you can't tell the difference between a supercell and a severe storm, the clouds spinning is a major feature, but also look for hail. Hail will usually fall around the time a tornado intensifies enough to lower to the ground. Tornadoes will usually creep their way down around a massive spinning wall cloud pulling in wind and other clouds. They start at around EF0, but can quickly intensify to the point of breaking homes and trees. Once a tornado is in the ground, get somewhere out of the way and safe. If said safe place is unavailable, just run from the tornado; they don't move fast enough to catch you, and they usually move in straight lines anyways. If you need anything else, just tell me.

A severe storm spawned in right at the start because the mod has a cooldown for spawning storms, but it resets when you start a world. Additionally, storms target the player when they increase in severity.

Can be turned off in the settings, though. I usually did that to have a chance to observe storm from afar, without it immediately speeding right into my face/base for some dangerous race/chase....

i have this mod and here’s my advice: ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, have an underground base/bunker. The surface is your enemy when it comes to tornadoes, as they will always spawn within your render distance. It’s incredibly annoying and I had to ditch my mega base because of it. Also, since the tornado does pull you into it, the only way to not be pulled in is by using an elytra. It’s also beneficial because you can literally slingshot yourself from the tornado. You don’t take damage from the tornado itself, but you will take fall damage if you fall to the ground.

@@patrickjaneismyname ironically i removed the mod a few days after this post, but i dont think it has hurricanes. it does have wind storms like snow/sand storms in biomes that have a majority of those things, so you should be good. the tornadoes will definitely eat up your beach house though, so consider that.

@@lancethewolf1999 then youd know that your comment is only 50% correct since it could also be moving away from you. Naders are often hard to see increase or decrease in size due to condensation and possible rain wrapping. What if its moving away from you but its also rapidly intensifying and increasing in size? A much better way to check if a nader is coming at you is by listening for the freight train noise. If that gets louder, and you are still not in shelter for whatever reason, nows your chance. Checking radar products for debris signatures, hail cores and movement directions is a must. Why yes, i am deeply traumatized by tornadic winds and have been ripped out of a deep sleep by an EF1 narrowly missing my house. Funny enough, this is what started my interest in Tornadoes, Supercells and Thunderstorms.

And well to reply from before while it's true that a tornado can move in different directions, most tornado observations tend to be to the west of the observer. This means that if the tornado appears to be stationary, it's likely moving toward you

i remember watching a minecraft tornado survival series when i was younger and i wanted the mod in my game because i love natural disasters, so i tried following some tutorial on how to download the tornado mod and i did something wrong because i ended up making the game unplayable because it wouldn't launch at all. it didn't crash or anything, it just refused to launch (and i didnt even download the mod)

5:15 copper actually has 2 purposes: lightning rods and spyglasses. it can also be used as a building block if you want. The spyglass lets you see way farther, and lightning rods attract lightning strikes to that specific location.

Not sure if it was intentional or not, but wind usually does blow into a tornado not out from it, so most of the time if you are close to a Tornado, whatever direction the wind is blowing, the Tornado is moving opposite of that direction.
