It all comes full circle back from 2020 when 1.16 first released. I can see this being extremely fast, rsg sub 8 or 7 is definitely viable, or even sub 6 with the perfect seed. I could also imagine seeing modern classic coming to ranked as an event or even a permanent addition.

Yeah because routing the bastion takes too long and can be dangerous resulting in a lot of damage.

disagree, drip's 7:01 with a better pearl to the fort is sub 7. as times get lower modern classic might become more and more viable in comparison, but the fact that you need so much luck means bastions are still better(at least for now)

@@swift_pineapple Una had a 4:16 home portal with 6 rods 10 obby and no pearls from 3 gold blocks back in January. If everybody grinded this, the community could see something like that every couple weeks.

@@swift_pineapple If you want to talk about luck, talk about the type of nether split a bastion runner has to get for world record today. Then compare that to the nether a classic runner needs for an even faster split (red biome, close fortress with accessible spawners, reasonable amount of pearls)

​@@forlogs an ideal bastion run needs: - bt and close ravine - relatively close bastion and fortress - linear stronghold and zeroable end - good terrain all the way through an ideal modern classic run needs: - close 10+obby blacksmith - close completable, lightable rp without using any of said obby - very close fortress(since you don't have pearls) - accessible piglins - 16+ pearls and 2+ extra beds from 3ish gold blocks - linear stronghold and zeroable end - good terrain all the way through I'm aware modern classic runs tend to be faster than bastion runs but this is too much of a compromise imo, even for wr. there's a reason basically no runners going for wr reset for classic

That's genius, im not playing classic but from good blacksmiths i have better paces than my ocean runs and with unlimited food. Also resetting for this are more fun because runs are more varied and brings back good memories with old strats :D I have two questions: Why i can't lock the instances on wall instantly doing this? (it takes like 2 seconds before i can lock) And what that resource pack actually do?

The resource pack makes it easier to see all your seeds at once. The locking delay is a problem built into seedqueue that has yet to be resolved.

i had a 4:30 enter with diamond pick spawn right next to spawner and a 3 gold blocks ruined portal in a nether waste then the piglin gave me 10 obby 0 pearls😭😭😭
