tbh i just re did the roof a bit on that spot to get them to open

This is a fantastic tutorial, there’s no stalling but at the same same it doesn’t go too fast, and you can visually see what you need to do if you get lost or confused! I was sent this by a friend to build on an smp and it was the best tutorial that I have ever used!

Same here. I just had to raise the spruce slab to meet the other row then filled the gab next to it with darn oak slabs

Just built it, I must have screwed up somewhere because I had to modify it so the roof was one block higher than the chests otherwise the top rows would have been useless, I also can’t figure out how to hang lanterns on the ceiling but either way I am happy with it thank you! 😊

I like this decsign a lot. Its simple and easy to adapt to different biomes. I used bamboo and it still looks nice.

Thank you! Make sure you’re using slabs above the chests and not full blocks. You should be able to open them :)

Holy s*** bro like I'm still grinding on the d*** chest road. I'm on a server, so it's like valatic, it's an s MP world. It's pretty good, not a lot of people play It, so my base doesn't get grieved and when it does you know I have some presents for them. With a build like this, I'd place two fence gates, spruce or dark oak, in the entrance. It would fit the aestetic.
