Minecraft: The Boiled One Mod Experience...

The Boiled One is supposed to grow as an immobile tower of flesh, inside the mind of its victims. It's all about telepathic/psychic energies, as it feeds from the fear it causes on its targets using sleep paralysis hallucinations. They could have programmed that the Boiled One attacked you inside a special dimension you are forced to visit when sleeping, but no. It is just another Dweller, with different skin, and an instakill. I'M SO TIRED.

not only is the "concept" what the entity actually is and should be like in the mod, but with its current behavior it is most definetly just another dweller. Only apparent difference being it stops moving when observed. Which many other dwellers already do. Nothing interesting, nothing fun, nothing new. Not even true to the source material. This makes me want a mod that actually does something similar to the analog series, because that would be awesome

I seriously feel like this mod is a wasted opportunity. The whole point of the Boiled one is that it makes you paralyzed in your sleep and torments you while you're unable to move. This mod is basically just the usual horror entity that just stalks you for a bit then jumpscares you with a PNG and a loud sound.

The only 2 things I really don't like about this mod is that he has VERY SIMILAR AI to the cave dweller and (here's just a little detail thing that I hate) the eyes glow. The original boiled one's eyes don't glow so that just kinda makes me a little... dissapointed? Other than that I feel like it's an alright mod :D
